Books that take place in london Eventually Noah bails Oliver out of prison but not before he spends hours in a cell with his abuser Even though he is out of that awful place it s obvious that Oliver is deeply traumatized After confronting and threatening Noah for his broken promises Jack tells Noah he never wants him to come near him or Oliver again In London Towne was by far the most heartrending book in the series That s saying a lot considering how dark most previous books have been I cried through at least half of the story not seeing how it could end well Fortunately Jackie pulled it off Thanks Jackie for giving Jack and Oliver their well deserved happy ending Christina E Pilz TW rape violence It s the final book in the series for Jack Nolly and I don t want to say goodbye to them I ve been gripped by their story from the first book I love that their love was a slow burn they both had pasts where they d known hardship and been betrayed by the people who were meant to care for and protect them It took them time but they are in a place now where their relationship and the trust they have in each other is the rock that they can hold fast to while they deal with what life throws at them.
In London towneplace marriott There are still obstacles to overcome in this book Chalenheim is still lurking around Jack is still recovering from being raped and a supposed friend betrays them leading to awful consequences for Nolly However the foundations they ve laid in getting to truly know each other help them overcome these obstacles as a team knowing when to gently push each other and when to hold back The book gradually leads up to a HEA that suits them both I like that Jack remains Nolly s bright bird rather than taking on a traditional manual job I was also so happy Finley was rescued by Nolly.
