Showing as little concern for mankind as you or I might for a fly A character s collection of pinned insects serves as a metaphor for how the fallen angels view us mere mortals with the added terror that I might not serve merely as a meal for one of the monsters as I might in a standard vampire story but that my very soul might be plucked out and used as a feather in Simon s attempt to reconstruct his supernal wings. The Banished onesdirect Have I revealed too much of the plot Perhaps But trust me when I say there is no replacement for reading this novella It s one of the most beautiful pieces of prose I ve ever read Ambroziak has a true knack for language.

EXILED TO EARTH THIS BANISHED ANGEL KILLS FOR A WAY BACK Ani is stripped of his wings and forced down to earth where he searches for a way to break his mortal curse Then one day a human girl steals his heart But love is fleeting and he wakes one morning to find her murdered Unable to get his revenge he travels through time and space to seek her out again each time her death falling on the heels of their reunion Is his love damned or is he doomed The Banished OnesJust finished read A Perpetual Mimicry by K P Ambroziak This is my first read by this author If this book is any indication of other work it will not be my last I was taken in from the first paragraph to the last A great read. The Banished onesf Synopsis Almega throws Ani to earth to rot and die in the body of a man Simon finds him first and shows him how to exchange his decrepit body for a new one Ani thinks he is the best guide an exiled angel can have But Simon is shrewd and wants Ani to help him get back the thing Almega has taken from him his wings. Epub the banished ones epub When Ani falls in love with Sarah he does not know she is the key to a banished one s survival and the reason he forfeited his wings in the first place Ani has to resist Sarah in ways he cannot and somehow save her from the one creature who wants to use her up Simon 92 Ani is a fallen angel sentenced to eternity on earth Lost and helpless in his wingless state he suffers the anguish of mortality until he meets Simon Simon is the first angelic exile to walk the earth and the best guide a banished angel could ever ask for only Simon knows how to become winged once again But Ani s human inheritance is than he expects When he falls in love with Sarah the girl haunting his memories he is doomed to live a heartache greater than the plucking out of his wings book description Reviewing this without giving any spoilers is so difficult I love Ambroziak s style of writing This is the second book of hers I ve read and it s still very classy This book definitely had hints of Dante Actually the story itself could have been Dante inspired with a little Groundhog Day thrown in Even though this is a novella it was definitely a satisfying read and didn t seem like less than a novel You get so immersed in what s going on and then you have time travel and people to keep straight It s not difficult but it requires that you pay attention I cannot imagine a worse punishment than Ani s I simply can t It s literally a Hell on Earth for him You get to know him so well inside and out that it s difficult to comprehend how he can possibly survive it. The Banished onesg I m really interested to see how religious people view this book There are definitely divine references alluded to Personally I found the references and similarities an exciting what if Just keep in mind that this is fiction not propaganda If you enjoy paranormal fantasy thriller or drama this could be the best 99 cents you ve spent in a long time I m so glad I didn t miss out on it I was really impressed with Ambroziak s vampires and zombies in The Fifth Empire but I have to admit that this book might have even been better It will keep you thinking long after you ve finished Though it isn t a light read it s an amazing one 92 Awesome Indies Book Awards is pleased to include A Perpetual Mimicry A Novella by K P Ambroziak in the library of Awesome Indies Book Awards Badge of Approvalrecipients A Perpetual Mimicry is a most unusual book intriguing in concept and brilliant in execution The story is metaphysical paranormal fiction set primarily in the past The central character is a fire angel banished to earth by his maker and the story deals with the concept of the circular nature of life on earth as beings repeat challenges until they learn what they need to learn or do what they ve been placed on earth to do The author shows a rare excellence in written prose and the elegant passionate style is reminiscent of classic vampire literature and of Krisi Keley s On the Soul of a Vampire series but despite the title this is no mimicry it is a completely unique concept It s a short but great read for anyone interested in the paranormal but put off by the usual lightweight vampire fiction Like Keley s work this is literary paranormal fiction Read it It s fascinating and beautifully written and edited You ll likely learn some new vocabulary as well 5 stars This is an author to watch. Book the banished ones pdf P AMBROZIAK in the library of Awesome Indies Badge of Approval 92 This is horror as it should be A PERPETUAL MIMICRY is one of the darkest most disturbing books I ve read in a long time There s an inkling perversity at its core which comes perhaps from upsetting the rules that a reader walks in understanding You know what I mean by the rules A silver bullet kills a werewolf A dragon hoards gold Demons can be cast out by an exorcist. The Banished onesgo A PERPETUAL MIMICRY is something different something extraordinary I d venture to say It s a story about angels fallen angels but it takes the rules I always understood about celestial beings fallen or otherwise and flips them on their head so that it closely resembles a vampire story but one where souls and not mere blood is at stake. The banished ones kindle edition Ani is a newly fallen angel His crime against Almega presumably the almighty or a feminine understanding of God is unrevealed at least until the end of this short novella His suffering in the first chapter is decadently exquisite so that I felt like I too had been cast out of Heaven Ani is then saved by Simon perhaps the most dreadful sort of monster in a literary history replete with them portraying himself to Ani as a savior and a brother and perhaps a new God to worship The angels then rampage through the ages and has constructed something at once infernal and divine here with mere terrestrial words I wish her good fortune and a long fruitful career 92 With writing comes reading I like to read all kinds of stuff I write about some of the books I read for different reasons I suppose Sometimes it s about reflection other times analysis and practice but mostly it s about learning I m a storyteller too and I learn something every time I read another s work I will say this I ve appreciated every SINGLE book I ve read even those I don t finish Without them I couldn t be a writer I savor those lessons Sometimes my reviews are critical and I don t love the 5 star system for ratings but even the books I seem to speak of harshly have given me a gift and I am forever grateful to the superhero who s sat down alone for days and weeks and years to write a story to tell me That is a With writing comes reading I like to read all kinds of stuff I write about some of the books I read for different reasons I suppose Sometimes it s about receiving a low rating believe me But I like to think mine have helped me get better Every SINGLE one of them Remember the reader is reading your story The exchange can t be denied It never has been It s as old as time site_link GreatWell I admit I am confused as usual with this author there are brilliant characters and an interesting storyline but I haven t yet worked out what is really going on Ani I loved such a gentle trusting person but Simon has far too much power to be what he said he was just the same as Ani but I love stories that make me think and I will be reading this one again It feels like there should be books to follow 92 A fine novella It has some great takes on religion and morality in general Although the character voices never really gave the life I wanted to read to their characters indeed Simon felt the most well rounded Which was unfortunate I think with another round of really tough character development and finding their voices this could be really spectacular The story is really fascinating albeit repetitive at times but it accomplishes being religious without being preachy Well done Would love to read it as a full novel 92 A fire angel is stripped of his wings banished from his star and forced to roam the Earth as penance He plummets to Earth landing in the desert where he encounters Simon another banished one Simon promises to help him regain his star Wandering through place and time our angel occupies a number of bodies and experiences a number of human emotions First he takes over the body of a shepherd Ani and comes to be known by this name As Ani he meets Sarah and discovers that there are worse fates than losing your wings and being banished from your home The writer has a fabulous vocabulary the dictionary feature of the Kindle app certainly came in handy I even learned a few new words including pinions virescence pulchritude Lethean sidereal plumule empyrean and egregious We may wonder what all the disparate story lines have to do with each other but it all becomes clear in the end A Perpetual Mimicry can be described as an angelic Groundhog Day This is one of the best written and well edited works I have read A Perpetual Mimicry is the definition of beautiful writing it is poetic and lyrical profoundly moving and will haunt you for a long time to come I look forward to reading by this author 92 Extremely interesting take on the angels falling back to earth theme or rather being banished It was intriguing well written and kept my interest from start to finish I was totally not expecting the ending which is unusual because I can usually predict where the story will go It was kind of short so I felt that I would have liked a little story line but all in all an enjoyable tale I would read from this author 92 What would you give my friend to regain your star I wish I could see inside the mind of K. The banished ones epub ebook free download P Ambroziak I love the stories and characters she creates She is an AMAZING author A Perpetual Mimicry rendered me speechless The story is dark and twisted and oh so interesting An absolutely unique tale Banished from the realm he knows deplumed and trapped within a human frame an angel later known as Ani is rescued by fraternal creature Simon another banished angel Simon promises Ani that he will show him how to regain his star and how to rejuvenate his essence in a human body through a process known as body snatching. Banished one crossword clue In human form Ani lets his instincts guide him and he stumbles upon a quaint cottage where a beautiful oval faced girl named Sarah awaits him A man he knows to be his father is on his death bed and he makes Ani promise him to protect Sarah Ani agrees to do just that. The banished ones ebook pdf Ani learns about human emotions specifically grief and love His grief of his earthly father bonds him to Sarah and he falls in love with her He is devastated when someone else tells him that they are to marry Sarah He feels that his depluming was nothing compared to the plucking out of his heart Life becomes intolerable He believes he was sent to earth as punishment and not to find earthly love Just as he thinks he can t handle any Simon gives Ani a vial of liquid which he drinks and he starts anew again. The Banished onesgo ged He continues this cycle in multiple bodies each time learning a bit of his purpose here on earth Simon continually launches Ani through infinite dimensions and different time periods Then a butterfly visits him and provides him with a vision and a revelation that is than shocking to him He learns that although trapped in an endless cycle as an immortal soul his fate isn t hopeless If only he refuses what he desires most he can then die in the flesh and attain true freedom. Banished the long road home on kindle There isn t a happily ever after for Ani and as a reader I wondered what would become of him and if he would be able to avoid what he desires the most I also wonder if there will be a sequel to A Perpetual Mimicry If there is I will be sure to read it I HIGHLY recommend this story to anyone who enjoys dark fantasies A Perpetual Mimicry is a tragic tale of a banished angel forced to roam the earth in a human shell Beautifully written and thought provoking I give this book 5 5 stars I received an E copy of this book in exchange for a fair honest review 92
