At death it beginsm manga 5 starsRTC 297 I really enjoyed this story To be honest when I first started reading it I had a hard time getting into it but after the background was laid out a bit things really picked up The writing got better and better as the book went on Elle Jefferson paints a whole new vampire world Sure some of the typical vampire tales are presentdrinking blood hundreds of years old etc But she introduces us to quite a few new tales of her own as well ADIB had a bit of a slow start for me However I feel that way about almost all paranormal books This story was very complex and in retrospect I see that we needed the extra pages of explanation to get us from point A to point B without confusion Callum Scott is sexy sarcastic broody and slightly pretentious He also happens to be the World s most eligible bachelor and a vampire And before you ask despite his hotness he doesn t burst into flames or sparkle when he steps into the sun After a chance meeting Callum is immediately drawn to Lendyn Hughes a young Hollywood screen writer While he can t yet understand his unexpected interest in this woman he finds himself unable to stay away from her.
