I remember that I kept telling myself I ll read just one last chapter the last thing I knew I had finished the book and I was two hours away from the time I had to get up for work. That one summer summary it was totally worth it Then I thought the sequel could never be as good as the first book I was so wrong it was even better and we has the chance to know what was going on with the characters we learned to love in the first book So of course when I had the chance to get an ARC for this book I jumped on it and I kept crossing my fingers I would get one I ve never been excited than when I saw the email In this one we discover Tammy.

Control freak Onslow boy The story starts with the Onslow gang deciding to celebrate the new millennia with some camping and a road trip Tammy is not sure she want to go and be the third wheel and when she finally decide and go to meet the others at the Onslow Hotel they are gone. That one summer photography J is still the master of funny and hot moments I was surprised at how much I loved Chris at the end of this book For Chris Henderson was the hot but moody bartender who bought the Onslow hotel with Sean I always thought he was cool.

Loving Chris Henderson would be wrong Diabolically disastrous I mean what is there about him to love He s moody bossy brooding a control freak and that s on a good day but there was one achingly obvious fact that haunted my every thought every minute of every day He sure could kiss As the countdown to the new millennium begins there is one thing everyone agrees on no one wants to be in Onslow for New Year s Eve So that can only mean one thing road trip No longer the mousey invisible shy girl from years ago Tammy Maskala is finally making up for all those lost summers A new year with new friends which astoundingly includes the bossy boy behind the bar Chris Henderson She likes her new friends at least most of them so why does she secretly feel so out of place After chickening out on the trip a last minute change of heart sees Tammy racing to the Onslow Hotel fearing she s missed her chance for a ride The last thing she expected to meet was a less than happy Onslow Boy leaning against his black panel van Now the countdown begins to reach the others at Point Shank before the party is over and the new year has begun Alone in a car with only the infuriating Chris Henderson Tammy can t help but feel this is a disastrous start to what could have been a great adventure But when the awkward road trip takes an unexpected turn Tammy soon discovers that the way her traitorous heart feels about Chris is the biggest disaster of all Fogged up windows moonlight swimming bad karaoke and unearthed secrets after this one summer nothing will ever be the same again That One Summer Summer 3 CJ has done it once again That One Summer has a mix of everything in it What I loved the most though was the group of friends their friendly banter and the way we still got to see the characters from the first two bookswhich I also loved But this one I was looking forward to the most I mean who doesn t love a broody hot maleME and Cj done wonders with Chris She ll make you fall in love with not only him but all of them Cj will also leave you wanting and waiting for from her. That One summertree As for Tammy she did a lot of growing up in this book She s this beautiful college student personal trainer but she always feels like she doesn t belong Sometimes she s shy sometimes confident but ok hanging out with Chris will do that to a girl In this one we have the chance to connect deeper with all the other characters In the other books we only got glimpse of our favorite couples but they are an important part of this book Just have to say that C. What grade is one summer's day J Duggan Having enjoyed reading the two other Summer books before this I was very much looking forward to That One Summer Duggan does her romance so very well and makes you swoon a helluva lot That One Summer did not disappoint Chris and Tammy s love story was real romantic If I d had to choose perfect I would have just chosen you Truth be told I was wary of Tammy as the main character for That One Summer I wasn t sure how she d sit with the whole gang as she was not originally part of it I was surprised that she was anxious about being out of place herself and I felt for her then Tammy Maskala s voice was very natural and easy to read While I can t say I downright loved Tammy I liked reading about the Onslow gang through her eyes. That one summer epub ebook Another thing about this series is that the male cast is seriously GORGEOUS I don t even care that a marvelous species such as the Onslow Boys cannot ever be real or sensible The Onslow Boys have grown on me and I love them so Sean Murphy was my absolute favorite but I was flabbergasted by just how much I ended up liking Chris Henderson too Chris is the moody broody responsible one in the group and he s often dismissed as a tight ass I did not expect his sweet sexy and smirky side but seeing it shine through in That One Summer was thoroughly fun You know that nice for me means absolutely beautiful right Humor and flirty witticisms are a guarantee with the Onslow boys and That One Summer had much of it Looking back now I must ve looked like an idiot smiling to myself while reading this book Summer or not That One Summer was a delecatable read Romance Young Adult Contemporary This was hella sweet and adorable Takes me back in time with that late 90s Aussie vibe Duggan never disappoints Full review to come on blog tour Firstly thanks to CJ Duggan and the Three Bookateers for this review copy and organising the blog tour And there was nothing frustrating than a smug Onslow boy CJ Duggan s 2012 Aussie YA contemporary debut The Boys of Summer completely blew me away with its 90s Aussie setting A year later and she s onto her third book in the Summer series she set the bar high with The Boys of Summer but That One Summer does not disappoint at all. This one summer epub I ll be honest I was scared to read the sequels in the Summer series because I m such a Tess Toby fan and I didn t think any other Onslow couple would beat the one from The Boys of Summer But reading TOS I found I absolutely adored Tammy and Chris They re very different to Tess and Toby and that s what made their story so enjoyable. That one summer pdf Set approximately 4 years after we re first introduced to the Onslow Boys and directly after the events of An Endless Summer the new millennium is approaching and nobody wants to spend New Year s Eve in Onslow The result is a camping road trip organised by the boys Stuck with the brooding Chris Henderson for the road trip Tammy Maskala as the newest addition to the gang has insecurities about fitting in with the rest Her sarcastic voice had me in stitches countless times and her wit made her a very likeable protagonist Being inside Tammy s head I could really relate to her She over analysed a lot of things which might be annoying in some characters but when one is stuck in a very long car ride with Chris Henderson who wouldn t over analyse every word the man manages to speak I guess the only thing that annoyed me about Tammy was how easily she cried I m a pretty emotional person but even I thought Tammy was a tad too sensitive Almost on the cry baby side Nearly everything set her off don t get me wrong she s a strong person but I think she may have needed a bit mettle where the crying was concerned In other words I had gone from the usual third wheel to spare tyre Chris Henderson Or as I sometimes to referred as 50 Shades of Frowns This guy had a different unpleasant expression for absolutely everything Constantly brooding he barely strung together complete sentences but what he did have to say was either extremely hilarious or very meaningful Chris Henderson is my kind of guy At first it seems the only trait that makes Chris an Onslow boy are his good looks On the surface it seems the defining characteristic of the Onslow boys is aesthetics charm and their outgoing confident nature But look beyond that and what the Onslow boys really do have in common is the way they treat girls fairly never looking down on them they don t say demeaning things they re good natured sweet and the type of guy every girl should be looking for What I love about the Onslow boys is their ability to love and to love unconditionally no questions asked They give their whole heart they re faithful and Chris Henderson is no different Deep down there s a funny side to him and importantly a truly caring guy that looks after those around him Just like I fell in love with Toby in The Boys of Summer I fell in love with Chris in That One Summer Do you ever feel like you have so much to say but you just don t know how to say it The romance was sexy as I loved the build up that Duggan created with the glances flirting and light touches She also writes steamy scenes like no other filled with longing desire and passion Duggan teases taunts and hints at what could be all the while leaving the reader reeling from the possibilities I desperately wanted to reach out to him to bring my shaking hands up and slide them over his shoulders to press skin to skin drawing him near and crushing against him like the stirrings of wave slamming into rocks Duggan knows just what everybody wants to see all our favourite characters from previous books again The whole ensemble from the previous books make their way to 2000 and seeing everyone again just made me really happy Each of the characters couples had their own subplot whether it was the addition of new characters couples continuing in their bliss or the trials they had to overcome That One Summer had it all The subplots made it a great way to see into the lives of the crew and of course made headway for future books You know than anyone that I am never one to love for the sake of being in love but I love because of you There s nothing overly complicated or angsty about the plot but it s a road trip of self discovery love and friendship Duggan intertwines the various subplots with Chris and Tammy s story set against the gorgeous back drop of Australian scenery from highway through the bush to beaches and resorts And as the clock strikes ever closer to January 1 2000 will everybody get their happily ever after And will Chris and Tammy find it in each other to see their feelings This is that one summer you won t want to miss sweet sexy and topped off with that serene laidback vibe that only comes with an Aussie YA We hoped for our lives to change in some way from this night on Romance Young Adult Contemporary

That one summer pdf download Of course there are a few secrets being kept a long the way However there is one big one that causes a little bit of issue with some of the characters It also played in to how Toby was with Tess which I wasn t a fan of thankfully it s all for a good reason Romance Young Adult Contemporary 2. That one summer book Tammy doesn t really like Chris does she She doesn t really want to go on a camping trip does she Tammy is the last person to know the answers to these questions but she s about to find out soon enough. That One summerray twitter Tammy was an okay character but I hated how little confidence she had and I hated how difficult it was for her to make a decision and stick with it I really wanted her to grow up a bit and stop behaving like a child. That one summer hair oil The storyline was a little strange I didn t really get why Tammy s mother meddled in her daughter s life and I didn t think that pretending to have a summer fling was a good idea I felt bored for the majority of this book unfortunately and the romance was a bit frustrating Usually even if I don t like the rest of the storyline I can still enjoy the romance but there just didn t seem to be that much romance in this one at all Then when we finally got a bit of action between the characters the deed was always called off and I just got really sick of it These weren t really kids they weren t virgins but every time there was just no consummation This wouldn t have been an issue if the romance and chemistry had been better but there was just nothing I didn t feel my heart racing and their flirting what little there was made me roll my eyes not shiver in anticipation. That One summerplace hoa The ending was like wise pretty dull and I was just glad it was over to be honest I m now wondering why I liked the first book in this series so much because books 2 and 3 have just been pants. Pdf that one summer in paris it was the perfect relaxing and fun setting I ve read Now two books later the spark hasn t left this series with That One Summer Road trip contemporary fans this book is for you Set in the last days of 1999 we are transported back in time and witness the countdown to the new millennia I was only 9 years old in 1999 so I can t remember all the excitement and buzz but I got to be a part of it in this book All three books are companion novels so we still get to be a part of the older characters and I just loved seeing Tess and Toby again. That one summer book and the Onslow Boys in general The characters are such great friends and their friendship and fun times make me a little bit envious at how simple the olden days were In this one we finally focus on Chris the brooding always serious bartender and now co owner of the Onslow hotel I was SO happy that he finally got a story since I ve loved him ever since I read The Boys of Summer A new character was introduced Tammy and I have to say that she s just as awesome as the previous two protagonists Duggan knows how to write likable and enjoyable characters I loved how the book didn t only center around their romance but we also got a few back plot lines one including Tess and Toby that gave me so much stress better to read the book and know what I mean but when it comes down to it Duggan s books are feel good HEA ones and I am so happy for that The friendship between the Onslow boys is what makes me love these books so much I definitely recommend this whole series to anyone in need of a good NA contemporary romance but I do not recommend it to younger teens I can t wait for the next novel and I am so happy to know who the two main protagonists are Romance Young Adult Contemporary This review is also posted on my blog Anatea s Bookshelf. That One summerplace portland J Duggan does it but she did it again That One Summer is once again a perfect read At this point I can honestly say that I ll read anything this author writes and love it and for me that is a rare thing with NA contemporary authors This book follows Chris Henderson Amy s oldest cousin and her best friend Tammy Maskala Everybody is set for a road trip to celebrate New Year s Eve away from Onslow and while this trip for some of them is just a time spent with friends and having fun for Tammy and Chris it might have a little different meaning. Kindle that one summer pdf I was very excited to see how this book plays out Tammy and Chris always seemed like they would be great together and I wasn t wrong They make a great couple This book is different from the first two in many ways All the characters are matured but there is still that playful side of them that we learned to love in the previous books Also Chris and Tammy are different than other characters They are closed off and serious Chris is still the same brooding Chris we know from before but we see a completely different side of him when he is around Tammy He is relaxed even playful and flirty at the times Tammy is still the shy one and I loved seeing how through the book she became bolder and aware of herself The chemistry between Chris and Tammy was present from the beginning I loved the way their friends were always teasing them and how slowly they both became aware of their feelings for each other The romance itself was perfect. Kindle that one summer free But the thing I liked the most in this book is friendship between them all Seeing how they are all very close how connected and ready to help each other is its strongest part.
