Art 101 kindle reader Keyifli okumalar 290 The information in this book was adequate but I would not recommend it as a good learning resource There is no sense of organization whatsoever neither alphabetical nor chronological You flip from one artist in the 1800s to a modern movement to an art technique back to an older movement then to an modern artist with no sense of continuity Also there are no pictures which makes it difficult to appreciate the distinct styles and techniques of each entry 290 As the title implies this is a really good basic introduction to modern art and artists This could very well be used in an art class and I wish they would have offered this in school There were a few photos at the end but I m undecided as to whether this book would have benefited from photos of the art but in not having them I was not distracted from the reading and much less likely to skim past based on if I liked the art or not So now I ll go back up and look up the many artists and their work that interested me.
