I got this book from the author With that said I am not much for just plain romances and I have to admit this was not one I did enjoy this book very much and look forward to books by her Kindle Edition This is a story about a mother s mistake and a daughter who s going to pay for it It spans about forty years you go back in time to learn about the decisions the mom made and why she made them and you get the daughter s viewpoint of how she sees her mom and her life today It also reminds you of some of the difficult times there were back when the mom made some not good choices such as racism kkk the Vietnam war just to name a few You get to know the Mom quite well and what she did to cope with her difficult childhood and then a marriage that probably never should have been This is a family s struggle to discover love trust and how to deal with loss This is a good read and definitely has an introspective aspect to it I was given a copy as part of a book tour 3.
