Reading the descriptive and seemingly synchronous writing style of Nadine Christian makes me want to pack my bags and head off for Pitcairn Island Although just getting to Pitcairn Island is a journey in itself. Quintal's returnvalue 5 Erin 202 After reading this authors first book I ve waited with baited breath for her second release Being one of the first to receive this book Nadine certainly didn t let me down with this little gem I totally loved this book Had a brilliant storyline the characters were so likeable well most if them lol I loved how Nadine brought her Pitcarn Island to life for us I found the ways of the island so interesting I read this book sitting in a field at a classic car show Wasn t til I had finished the book that I noticed some of the cars had left yes this book had me sucked right in from the beginning Received this from author in return for an honest review P. Book Quintal's returned I wasn t sure what to expect when I started reading this book would it be a mystery with a little romance thrown in or vice versa I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was both but also something written lightly with humour and still serious where it counts. Quintal restaurante palmas The characters were fantastic Kate was the serious business woman that eventually gave in to the fact that there was to life than getting the hotel up and running She s intelligent fun and very likeable She quickly gains the trust and respect of those around her. Book Quintal's return address It is obvious who the bad guy to this plot is from the start the author never tries to hide their feelings or intentions Celia was a fabulous scheming villain and when she finally makes her move I found her plots smart calculating and actually amusing. Quintal's Return books We are treated to meeting Bryce s friends who all welcome the Quintal sisters without question Everyone felt real and fun and hands up for a whale tooth If that wasn t good enough I was half way through the book when the cast ensemble suddenly swelled with the arrival of the first guests In a short space of time Christian managed to flesh out these new characters and weave them into the story effortlessly I think Bobby was my favourite. Quintal's returnvalue 1326 But the part I will take away from this book is the love the author has for Pitcairn Island On every page Christian has expressed the beautiful views given a background to what it is actually like to be on the Island that is than stats and figures And most importantly she has conveyed a strong sense of community without for one second letting it become sickeningly sweet. Book Quintal's returned I liked Bryce but I didn t love him He s a nice guy and I liked the way he also is like Kate a good person I think that had I only seen him from Kate and Celia his ex s point of view he would have worked better for me When I had his point of view somehow I just didn t feel like I was inside a man s head Having never been in a man s head that may not be a fair criticism for me to make but something about him felt unbelievable in those moments There s also not a lot to Bryce I fear He s good looking and he s your typical man s man He s skilled with tools and fishing likes sports and drinking and is very jealous and possessive of his woman I would have liked something deeper there again I think I only felt this because I got inside his head and didn t really see a lot going on. Quintal's Return epub.pub As a result I wanted him and Kate to work not because I loved Bryce but because I loved Kate and she wanted Bryce and I wanted her to be happy But if she lost him I also was ok She s a strong woman and could find someone else potentially better The StoryKate and her sister Jen were born on Pitcarin but grew up in New Zeland and have made their living as hoteliers moving all over They ve now returned home to run the 5 star hotel that the locals have built to save the dying economy of their little island The sisters immediately feel the pressure to make this venture successful They also immediately fall in love with the island and with the descriptions that Nadine Christian works in you can t help but fall in love with it and its residents immediately It is incredibly beautiful and the people are so gracious and friendly and just good So a big undercurrent of the story is about their need to make the launch of this hotel a successful one everyone is counting on them. Quintal's Return pdf reader The other huge element in this story is the relationship between Kate and Bryce most importantly because of Bryce s scorned ex Celia From the very start we know that she wants Bryce back we see bits of the story from Kate Bryce and Celia s point of view so there is no mystery Instead there s the anxiety of knowing than Bryce and Kate and agonizing over when they will see what s unfolding before them and you wonder just how bad it will get Celia s role worked for me best in the last 25% of the book when she really unleashed her crazy woman scorned plans Until then she was a bit frustrating for me even as I managed to sympathize with her I have a love hate relationship with love triangles I think they can add an interesting conflict to the story but I also have a hard time seeing one person hurt For me both elements were extremely true here The story was really propelled forward by the love triangle and the last major scene was truly fabulous but the pain I felt for Celia was also very strong It was impossible to hate her which I do think is exactly what Christian intended and so by the end I couldn t be 100% happy for the surviving couple Concluding SentimentsUltimately I really liked the characters and the plot did pull me forward in a predictable yet exciting way I would recommend Quintal s Return as a quick enjoyable read 202 Quintal s Return follows MC Kate Quintal as she and her sister return to their home island of Pitcairn to run the new hotel Most of the town s residents welcome the sisters with open arms pitching in to help refurbish their parent s old house and to help with the launch of the new hotel The hotel that will put Pitcairn on the map as a tourist haven It seems to be going along peachily for Kate her relationship with local handy man Bryce is coming along nicely and the hotel is set to be a big hit when it opens Once the hotel opens with sterling effort from everyone Kate s plans seem to be going well That is until someone decides that Kate needs taught a lesson a lesson in not messing with someone else s town job and love. Book Quintal's returning When I first started reading the story I was intrigued by the setting Pitcairn Island is a real island in the Pacific Ocean the landscape describe by Nadine a Pitcairn resident herself really give a great idea of the place with its lush tropical surroundings and jewelled seas I thought this was really the perfect location for the new hotel and for the story to unfold around it as it added to the glamour and luxuriousness of the hotel but also added the mystique of tranquillity and a sanctuary for tourists. Book Quintal's return I liked Kate from the beginning most of the story is told from her point of view interspersed with her perspective is some narrative from Bryce and another secondary character Celia This allows the reader not to get too bogged down in Kate s thoughts and offers a fresh perspective on the story especially as Bryce and Celia both have a permanent residence on the Island and Kate is effectively seeing it from an outsider s point of view. Book Quintal's return I liked getting into the idea that Kate was prepping the hotel for its launch Nadine really went into detail especially with Kate rallying all of the staff round and thinking up ideas for the hotel I thought that this was a really interesting side to Kate s story this along with her heat filled romance with Bryce. Quintal's Return booklet Kate and Jen kind of reminded me of the sisters from Sweet Valley High both different in their characters which meant that they really complimented each other in their personalities Jen being out going and out spoken and Kate seeming to serious and hard working The story has a bit of mystery to it as well including some plot twists that are so far out that you don t see them coming It will keep you turning those pages right until the very end A charming a small isle in the middle of the South Pacific with her five children four goats two cats and thirty chickens With its rich maritime history Pitcairn s romantic past comes alive in her novels capturing the taste of life on an isolated tropical island miles from the rush and bustle of normal city life. Quintal's returnvalue 1603 The Review I have to confess I was able to put this book down quite a bit in the beginning I m not sure why but I think it was just me I told my husband the writing is perfect no misspells nothing annoying everything was honestly written the way it should be But I felt it lacked energy in the beginning It might have been me and probably was I was coming off an exhausting 2 day vacation so I can t be positive on why I had those initial feelings But I wanted to acknowledge them in case other readers will feel the same I tried picking it apart and found no flaws I loved it once I took a couple days off from reading it and then came back to it So maybe that was the difference So if you re reading this book and you feel the sameHOLD ON TO YOUR HATS Because this book picks up momentum fast and once it does you ll be completely and utterly in love with it Once I got to a certain point I couldn t put it down until I finished it and I couldn t stop thinking about it Okay that being said let s get down to the heart of the book. Kindle Quintal's return man Kate and Bryce s relationship actually seemed to be very natural Of course there are a few misunderstandingsnamely involving Bryce s crazy ex girlfriend and a rock band sent to detox on Pitcairn These characters put this couple s fledgeling relationship to the test and very nearly break it But both Bryce and Kate are strong people and even while the odds are against them their goofy first blush of love thoughts and antics were so endearingand so relatable At one point Kate is trying ever so hard to dress casually for Bryce but to still look beautiful It made me laugh and she really doesn t pull the wool over Jen s eyes either She tried extra hard to make it look like her outfit was thoughtless the sarong no jewelry her hair loose down her backAnd then there s Brycesweet helpful smitten Bryce who had resigned himself to a life of bachelorhood He literally comes to life when he meets Kate His brusque alpha manner turns quickly to a gentle caring man one makes it evident that he could be a man that settles down love his woman and be content with very little But boyis he also full of passion Passionate lovemaking passion for living passion for Kateand oh that passionate anger She actually followed him home but he gulped at the sight before him She was furious When he heard her stomping up the porch steps he fought the urge to run and throw open the door in welcome.
