I enjoyed this one there is a good pacing and a solid story with good character development and progression looking forward to the third 340 Even better than the first book Can t wait for the next 340 If it is at all possible Jackson improved on the on the first book It was a thrilling and fascinating read and the different POVs were well done I highly recommend to read the series Characters 5 5Plot 5 5Suspense 5 5Writing 5 5World Building 5 5 340 Amazing not as good as the first but very very close the ending of this one i think could have been a little differnt but hey the story isnt finished yet so we ll see what comes next Def going to read the next one 340 I am really enjoying this series so far I cannot wait for book three 340 
Solid sequel to a amazing first book. Science fiction fantasy weapon of blood reddit it s been 5 years since the first book took place and Lad is still as bad ass as ever in a fight Reminds me a bit of Hearne from David Dalglish s books boy trained to be the perfect weapon. Weapon bloodborne I love reading other characters chapters and seeing their reaction to the Weapon made of Flesh lol There s one scene near the end where the Captain of the Guard comes across an area where there was a skirmish the chapter beforeeven the Thieves seem surprised by the chaos a Weapon of Flesh Blood can cause. Bloodborne best version of each weapon This was a good read will be interesting to see where Lad goes from here in the next book And it looks like the Noble s of the City are finally getting involvedwe ll see 340 I really great sequel which follows nicely from the first book despite the time skip Mya really developed as a character in this book to the point that wiggan felt like a secondary one which I suppose lessend the impact of the events at the end of the book Lad was an excellent character again who works as a bodyguard almost as well as he does an assassin although I do miss his ability to heal it did create great opportunities through the book I m looking forward to reading the next one 340 Sort of dark at the end but still good 340 Much slower than the first book 340 I was at a disadvantage in that I could not recall much of what all happened in the previous novel weapon of flesh But still a very enjoyable story and the aspects involving the characters is a unique one and keeps the story moving like the concept all around enjoyable book I will than likely go back and re read the first if not this one as well when the third and final in series is released I also went back and raised a star on the first novel and it than deserves recognition for a new and diff look at magic and how it can be used 340
