Taylor is being called back home by his dying father to take his rightful place at the head of their pride Despite his reluctance he agrees to go home at the urging of his brother and cousins On the drive he meets Aspen who has just been abandoned my her friend at a truck stop One thing lead to another and he offers to driver her home since they are both going to Anchorage I really liked Taylor and Aspen together Their relationship developed extremely fast but I felt like the hours they spent driving would have bonded them quickly so I didn t have a problem with it I didn t feel like I got to know either character all that well We don t know what Aspen does for a living or what company Taylor s family owns that he will be taking over Details like that were left out as the novella focused mainly on the relationships within the story This is a spin off series of the Werewolf Sentinels series that I have read and reviewed We first meet Taylor in that series and learn a little about him and a lot about the werewolf society If this series follows that formula then each book will explain a bit about their rules and will slowly open the world to the reader instead of pushing a lot of information on you at one time I personally enjoy it when its slowly developed as it makes each new book interesting and opens the world bit by bit One thing that may be confusing to a reader that hasn t read the WS series is the many mentions about the werewolves Taylor often refers to how the cougars are different from the wolves and while I appreciated it since I have read the other books.

Back to reviewing. Cougar helikopter This was book 1 in the Cougar Surrender Series I would love to read the rest of the series The secondary characters were funny and entertaining as well and I would love to catch up with them I would also like to peek in to see how Taylor and Aspen are doing since they achieved their happily ever after. Book cougar heat pdf I wish that the reader could have seen how Taylor changed from how he was before he was banished and the man that he needed to become due to being on his own It s scary to all of the sudden be all on your own with no one to help you and to guide you. Cougar heating and air conditioning reviews I liked Taylor He was a man that learned how to adapt to his new circumstances and he became a better man because of them He was used to listening to what his father told him and then all of the sudden he was on his own making his own decisions and he needed to adapt to his new environment I liked the fact that Taylor wont allow his father to dictate to him any about how to live his life Taylor let his father know exactly how he felt about his high handedness and that Taylor would go back to his old life if need be if his father continued in the same fashion Taylor really came into his own after his banishment. Can cougars live in cold climates
This is actually are really good start of a story Chenery is a very good writer and she comes out to play in this novella Her sex scenes are tasteful and well used The main characters are well developed and you can actually believe that they could easily fall in love Similar with most shifter books if we all had magic to tell us who we belong with it would be easy to settle down For a short read this is a fun little read Cougar Heat Cougar Surrender 1 After four years of banishment some readers may wonder why that is mentioned since we don t meet any wolves in this book. Cougar head tattoo Since this is the first book in the series I did feel that much of the novella was spent world building introducing the characters setting up conflicts ect While I did enjoy these parts the story is so short that I feel a little cheated in my time with Taylor and Aspen as a couple I would have liked a little page time devoted just to them because the scenes with them were great While we do get a happily ever after for Taylor and Aspen we have quite a few threads left up in the air What is going to happen to Taylor s father Can they cure him Now that Taylor put his foot down with his dad will he mad that Aspen is his son s mate What will Nikki do now How will the cougars react to a human mate It was mentioned that cougars have longer life spans than humans and Taylor is only twenty nine so will he outlive Aspen by over a hundred years Will she live longer now that she has his necklace I need answers and I hope some of these are addressed in the next book in the series To Love a Cougar Cougar Heat Cougar Surrender 1 Reviewed by LoriBook provided by the publisherReview originally posted at Romancing the BookI love Ellora s Cave books I know I ve said this before but I just can t help myself It just needed to be said again Ok she was sweet and vulnerable and she was a woman who wasn t ashamed to like sex She also knew how to ask for what she wanted from the man that she was with Aspen was a young women trying to make it on her own and be successful in her own right She was strong when she needed to be and she s smart.
