MY VIEWSetting 1928 The author did a wonderful job of writing this historical novel I did find a few typing errors but if the book is good you look right past them This book was that good The setting was a mining town that actually was a real place The author gives good descriptions of the life and hard times that miners along with their families had to face everyday Then the author delved into a very delicate issue of abortion Mr Jones wrote of this issue with tact He describes the poor families and their big families and a lack of providing adequately for them He also tells of the fact that women had few options since services were for women were rare.
