Thriller Um Estudo em Vermelho / Os Sete misterios gloriosos So I finally adventured into the world of Sherlock Holmes starting obviously with A Study in Scarlet I was very captivated by the characters in the first chapters when I meet them for the first time They were simple yet interesting Can t say I liked them as I read though Watson is largely just a spectator hardly ever doing anything to advance the story and Sherlock proved himself to be very arrogant and cocky As for the latter I won t dissent that he is a great detective and does possess amazing and often inhuman talent But I would respect it a lot if he wasn t showing off all the time Don t get me wrong I understand that because it s Watson narrating the story Sherlock has to explain his thought process to the reader But in some cases it s absolutely inessential and could be explained implicitly.
