Book lillian holmes and the leaping man series I am truly in love with this book and I cannot wait until Ciar writes the next one PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write it soon and let me proof read it I will be totally honest and kick some serious proofreading butt I highly recommend this book for everyone You love romance check action check historical check paranormal check strong females check strong males check insanity brought about by medicines yep that is there too it s just a great book for the start of what I know will be an AMAZING series Ciar Cullen I was sent this book to give a quote for the cover by the editor and I always approach that with trepidation What if I don t like it What if I have to refuse to give a quote I opened this book squinching up my eyes just in case and was relieved to find that it was wonderful Lillian is a unique character with real problems and a great way of shielding herself psychologically from her past And the tortured vampire hero is perfect for her Think a delightfully reluctant female Sherlock Holmes meets a very sexy Dracula who has just supped on her next door neighbor The humor is tongue in cheek the relationship is well drawn and there s action to boot Ms Cullen uses historical detail very effectively I haven t read anything like it recently and I was so glad to be able to give a quote and tell others how much fun it was to read Ciar Cullen
This was an odd little mishmash of genres A tiny bit steampunk a dash of mystery and some pararnormal romance On top of that Lillian had serious mental health issues brought on in part by a morphine addiction and our hero George had been a very bad bad boy SeriouslyBAD Despite that I d like to read about this pair since their future is hinted about at the end of the book Maybe there will be a sequel Ciar Cullen 5.

Lillian Holmes and The Leaping manga I also loved the Sherlock Holmes connection How original This is an elegantly written book with rich historical detail and a thrilling storyline Definitely worth a read Ciar Cullen I ve been wanting to read this for a really long time because I was intrigued by the premise of the 20 something Lillian reputed niece of Sherlock Holmes following in her famous uncle s footsteps in the streets of late Victorian Edwardian Balti That s not really what this book was like though Lillian Holmes isn t really Sherlock Holmes s niece because she lives in our world where Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is real and Sherlock is fictional This is much less of a mystery novel and much of a paranormal romance Usually PNR is my reading preference and if there are vampires so much the better However I never really connected with George as the romantic hero He could have made a great nemesis to Lillian if Lillian were truly a great crime solver but she isn t and George is never truly set up as her nemesis Since he s not a terrifically evil nemesis turned romantic partner there s not as much tension between Lillian and George as there could be.
Book lillian holmes and the leaping man pdf Sure all the women think George is handsome but as vampires go there s nothing much memorable about him I also had a bit of a hard time keeping track of some of the secondary characters This novel is the first book in a series The series might get much better after this which represents only the very beginning of the relationship between Lillian and George I don t think it s the right series for me You may feel differently Ciar Cullen Brilliant There is a lot to like about this fantastic tale Filled with romance mystery friendship and deceit this book had me intrigued from start to finish I love the uniqueness of the story with paranormal aspects sprinkled in and I enjoyed the evolution of the main characters although I did feel that that part was a bit rushed Without giving too much away the main mystery is not revealed and although the book ends at a good stopping point it does end with to be unveiled in this marvelous tale I cant wait for the next book however I don t see anything stating there will be one I hope there is another installment planned as I want to know so much about Lillian Holmes Ciar Cullen.,
