But her life is literally on the line and I could not comprehend her not moving away at some point during his absence But what I had the hardest thing believing is she would willingly go to Ryan during his hospital stay and then bring him back into her home The abuse storyline is just too realistic to convince me that Lexy would want anything to do with Ryan after everything he did to her over the years. Liberty basketball coach There were things I liked about Liberty I adored the new Ryan and how he patiently waited for Lexy to overcome her fears Their sex scenes are a beautiful mix of sweet and sexy and I loved watching Lexy experience the romantic side of lovemaking Seeing Lexy finally put the horrors of her past behind her is also incredibly gratifying All in all.

A lot of touching descriptions of their intimate moments 304 I received this galley in exchange for an honest review Thank you Harlequin and Netgalley. Statue of liberty book I m usually not a romance person but from the time I first heard about Liberty I knew that I wanted to read it Though the story was very predictable and I knew from the first few pages how it was going to turn out I still really enjoyed it It was a quick read and I loved the characters. Liberty casino Ryan has come back from Afghanistan with no memory about his life before the war He used to be an extremely abusive jerk and Lexy was ready to serve him divorce papers when he came home But Ryan is definitely a new man He is sweet and romantic and really just wants to take care of Lexy But the he learns about the man he was the he realized that he can t be Ryan He might not remember anything about himself or his past but he knows that he would never hit a women especially the kind of abuse and torture that Lexy has experienced I really loved Lexy She has been through so much and I am glad that she was finally able to stand up for herself. Liberty pdf notes Even though I am not a huge romance fan only reading a few books in this genre I really enjoyed Liberty It is definitely one of those books that leaves you believing in true love 304 My first adventure into the new adult genre 304 The adage that everyone has a twin somewhere in the world becomes a reality in the war zone of the Middle East This complex engrossing novel tells of a man with no memories and a wife determined to start over without him RT Book Reviews rated 4 1 2 stars Miniseries A Redemption Novel 304 In Liberty the first novel in Ginger Jamison s Redemption series Lexy Beecher barely recognizes her abusive husband Ryan when he returns home after he is injured in Afghanistan While he mostly looks like the same man who left he certainly does not act like the same man she feared for most of her marriage Which makes her wonder is he the same man One of only two men who survived an attack in Afghanistan Ryan Beecher returns to the small town of Liberty with very few memories He has absolutely no memory of his wife Lexy and in fact everything he learns about his ten year marriage seems like it happened to a different person Ryan may not recognize anyone or anything but one thing is for certain Lexy is his lifeline in the midst of turmoil and he will do everything in his power to convince her he is not the abusive man he once was Lexy has endured a lot over the course of her marriage but she has been carefully planning her escape from her abusive husband She just has not been able to save up enough to leave when Ryan is injured Although her love for Ryan ended long ago she still rushes to his bedside and aids him during his recovery There are a few alterations to his physical appearance but she chalks them up to Ryan getting in shape for the Marine and his subsequent injuries Of course he is also much kinder and gentler but again she easily excuses his differences to his time in the military and his injuries What Lexy finds most troubling is her unexpected and unwanted sexual attraction for Ryan How can she possibly be attracted to the man who physically and emotionally abused her for so many years The new Ryan is an absolute delight and I could easily see why Lexy is so drawn to him He is patient kind considerate and loving in other words the complete opposite of the man he used to be He is stunned and horrified by not only the things he is told he did to Lexy but by his friends and their appalling treatment of her Ryan has no connection to his past career or loves and the longer he is in Liberty the sure he is that a horrible mistake has been made I really wanted to love Liberty the ingredients are there for an incredible story but I just had a difficult time connecting to Lexy I felt sorry for the horror she experienced at the hands of her husband but I just could not believe that she did not leave during the two years he was gone The reason behind her staying is compelling a lovely beginning to Ginger Jamison s Redemption series 304 Review featured on www. Kindle liberty comI really enjoyed this story It was interesting in how different from any other story I have read The characters are enjoyable I had a few problems with some of the things that were or were not done DNA test anyone But the story is so sweet and Ryan is so lovable it is hard not to enjoy him I can see why Lexy is so scared and stand offish but she comes into her own so completely that it is nice to watch I can t see why this is considered erotic but it is poignant and loving and the romantic I really love this authors style as Ginger or Sugar Jamison and can t wait for her next book Disclaimer I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review 304 Insert happy sigh This book seriously made me happy Like I am smiling like a pure fool at how great this book was and I actually hated to see it end Now I am going to keep this review short because I don t want to spoil it for anyone reading this but I will put it very simple Imagine having your husband beat the hell out of you degrade you call you all kinds of names for 9 years and he wakes up not remembering a thing and a completely different person yep going to leave it right there because saying any would be a buzz kill My thoughts were running all over the places and the I tried to piece and place things the confused I became so I did what all books should make you do. Liberty city I think I fell in love with this book 304 Imagine if you will your military husband returns from deployment not with PTDS but rather the opposite a once verbally and physically abusive man is now sweet and kind That s what happens to Lexy Beecher who was just waiting for her husband to return home to hand him the divorce papers having finally saved up enough money to pay the fees for the nursing home where her younger brother lies dying of a degenerative disease After being wounded in a bombing Ryan Beecher comes home scarred confused and unable to remember anyone or anything about his former life The only one who calms his fears is Lexy and he clings to her despite her verbally caustic barbs Her actions are kind even if her words are not and he s overwhelmingly attracted to her even if he has no memories of her as his wife so he stays with her despite his growing doubts that the man he believes himself to be could have ever acted as Ryan Beecher acted toward Lexy in the past. Liberty ccr Is the man who came home clutching Ryan Beecher s dogtags really Ryan Beecher The opening chapter set overseas during the bombing plants some doubts for the reader Said doubts shouldn t remain doubts for long since the Ryan who comes home has no Texas accent eyes a different shade of blue and a few inches than his predecessor did But both Lexy and Ryan continue to play married couple even as Ryan grows resistant to the idea that he could ever have been so abusive to his wife I wasn t quite sure why in the world Ryan was ever drawn to Lexy she is so verbally abusive to him not without cause given her history but still not terribly endearing that I could never understand why he liked her I couldn t bring myself to feel for her even with the weight of sympathy I should have felt given her victimhood and her self sacrifice on behalf of her brother. Liberty meaning The plot here makes so little sense see spoilers above and the writing did little to make the story at all compelling A disappointment all around 304 Excellent story The hero is a Marine injured in Iraq or Afghanistan it s not clear which and this is a bonus in this book Anything that isn t particularly pertinent to Jamison s main plot is skimmed vaguely over or just plain left out He s a Marine injured in a rocket attack somewhere overseas The heroine is his wife apparently Her husband was a mean drunk who nearly beat her to death before he enlisted and she s got the divorce papers ready But she can t make herself leave him while he s helpless in the hospital But he doesn t act like her husband and from the very beginning you re not sure if he actually is or not but Jamison drops enough hints that you re pretty sure he s not And if so what will happen then It s angsty all over the place all emotional and stuff A very quiet plot The heroine is pretty wishy washy about her feelings going back and forth a whole lot but it s motivated well so I didn t mind it I liked the story a whole lot 304 4.
