loved this book I really like mermaids so of course it got my attentions Makes you wonder if they were really true I actually like the theory that they returned to walk the land in order to find a mate to get pregnant to be honest I actually laughed even though it is not funny when she killed that man let me explain this because it is later in the book that you actually find out what happened but it was so sad also but at least she felt she did justice to what he was trying to do to her so is it really wrong for a female to protect herself In my opinion hell no all women have a right to protect themselves WHENEVER they feel another is going to hurt them not promoting to kill another person maybe the situation could have been different but this also happens in every day life so I actually enjoyed that part of the book I personally think that it showed that not all people are mean and it also shows if you have money then police is willing to help as oppose to if you don tIt so funny but this book reads about every day life to most people especially were police as concerned.
