I loved the storylines Each character was interesting in their own right I listened to it on audiobook and probably would ve enjoyed it better had I read it myself I say this because the narrator tried to use a blaccent What non black people think black people sound like Stop it Its annoying We don t all sound like that that was truly disturbing Its a little annoying and insulting because it implies that we all sound the same all come from the same place all have the same education and same life experiences At one point she made one of the characters go from sounding college educated to 8th grade middle school drop out almost like she forgot the character was supposed to be black and she forgot to black it up but I digress Aside from the narrator the story was captivating even though some of the outcomes were predictable or cliche I like that you could have multiple opinions about each character There was no true villain except for Chris cousins and crew and each character was well developed and showed moments of vulnerability Altogether it was an enjoyable read English loved this book full of drama from start to end 5 read can t wait for part 2 English OkA lesson in life Having children before being financially ready cheating using your body to earn your living One crazy book English I listen to the audio version typos then predictable English .
