It didn t lessen my enjoyment of the story The author really brings the Australian setting and the characters to life This was a thoroughly entertaining read with suspense a plenty This story moves along at a cracking pace and I was right there with the characters from start to finish I have to say as it got closer to the end I started turning pages faster My only problem is as often happens after a good book or selection of good books that I tend towards discarding anything else that doesn t come up to standard and have done that with a couple since I hadn t read Kerry McGinnis before but will definitely seek out others by this author to read Mallee Sky Kate Gil was tired tired of driving.

Mallee sky activities I enjoyed this story and hope to read of Kerry McGinnis stories Mallee Sky Mallee Sky is about love family secrets and belief in yourself Kate Gil decided to go back to Mallee after her marriage and her job ended On arrival at Mallee Kate needs to find a job and lucky to meet Max who gave her position as a housekeeper to his uncle who lives on a remote property Kate finely found to be happy until her past caught up with her The readers of Mallee Sky will continue to follow Kate Gil to find out what happens Mallee Sky is another fantastic book by Kerry McGinnis I engaged with the plot of this book from the first page and I was sad when I read the last page I enjoyed the way Kerry McGinnis put the twist and turns in the plot of this book I love Kerry McGinnis s portrayal of her characters and how they intertwine with each other throughout this book Mallee Sky is well written and researched by Kerry McGinnis I like Kerry McGinnis s description of Mallee Sky s settings allowing me to imagine being part of the book s plot The readers of Mallee Sky will learn about the dangers of bush fires for farmers Also understand the suffering parents go through when their child goes missing I recommend this book Mallee Sky When Kate returns to the Mallee with her marriage in tatters she knows exactly what sort of welcome she will get from family she hasn t seen for years and those that she was closer to than her own family The place is a source of childhood secrets memories and loss especially of Megan the friend from her childhood who disappeared when the girls were nine I was involved in this story from the beginning Kate is a spirited character with a kind heart and I enjoyed meeting her as well as Heather and Ken Megan s parents Kate s mother Edna and her brother Doug are suitably obnoxious and you understand perfectly why Kate has been so reluctant to go near them Though trained as a teacher she is down on her finances thanks to her ex husband Guy So when she is offered a job as a carer for an elderly man she takes it Harry is a crusty old character whose manner belies a soft heart that is often well hidden She also encounters the young boy Maxie who seems to be always hanging around Harry s place and Max a relative of Maxie s who keeps a bit of an eye on Harry and helps out from time to time.
