Royal menagerie tower of london
Humor and Comedy I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review The original review can be found on Genuine Jenn This was my very first time reading a Regency type romance novel I will admit I never was sure if I would enjoy them as I am not a huge history person When Ruth apprached me to ask if I would review this book I thought why not can t hurt right So I said yes and here is what I thought about the book. Royal menagerie tower of london First off I did have to get used to the way the characters spoke in that time I am not sure when it was that it took place but it took place in a day with people of Titles and a big class separation Francesca has grown up around cats.
Royal menagerie tower of london
She is a snotty gold digger All she is wanting is to have a man with loads of money She hates the Zoo and cats. Royal menagerie tower of london This is a cute sweet romance with an olden day feel while courting and proper appearances class are in need I felt myself falling in love with the main characters and routing for their love Hoping they can over come the division and find happiness by the end of the book I was actually sad to put down the book at the end as it would have been interesting to read about Francesca and John This book is a must read if you like regency and sweet romances There isn t any swearing or hot love scenes.
The menagerie is for guests only
Has given him other ideas for a wife But she s not titled or wealthy How will he be able to convince his uncle that she s the woman of his heart 4. The menagerie is for guests only 5 out of 5I just read this book by Ruth Hartman and I must say I enjoyed it It took me back in time and I got to see how Zoo s worked I enjoyed seeing how Francesca or Franny interacted with the animals and seeing how much they loved her I know that the way they interacted is highly unlikely but I enjoyed it anyways because books are supposed to stretch the imagination Franny helps her father take care of the big cats at the London Tower Zoo When one day John comes to the zoo to look around She is intrigued by him and gets to know him better with her father s approval That is until her father learns that he is a soon to be Baron This story was great I enjoyed getting to see these two people interact all throughout the book and I was so glad when Jezebel Cartwright got put in her place. Royal menagerie tower of london hated her Well it was a love hate relationship in the aspect that I loved to hate her She was a terrible person and deserved everything that happened to her I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys historical romances or stories about cats Mystery.

Ruth J Hartman spends her days herding cats and her nights spinning tales that make you smile She her husband and their cats love to spend time curled up in their recliners watching old Cary Grant movies Well the cats sit in the peoples recliners Not that the cats couldnt get their own furniture They just choose to shed on someone elses Ruth a left handed cat herding farmhouse dwelling romance writer uses her goofy sense of humor as she writes tales of lovable klutzy women and the men who adore them Ruths husband and best friend Garry reads her manuscripts rolls his eyes at her weird story ideas and loves her in spite of her penchant for insisting all of her books have at least one cat in them Ruth J Hartman spends her days herding cats and her nights spinning tales that make you smile She her husband and their cats love to spend time curled up in their recliners watching old Cary Grant movies Well the cats sit in the people s recliners Not that the cats couldn t get their own furniture They just choose to shed on someone else s Ruth a left handed cat herding farmhouse dwelling romance writer uses her goofy sense of humor as she writes tales of lovable klutzy women and the men who adore them Ruth s husband and best friend Garry reads her manuscripts rolls his eyes at her weird story ideas and loves her in spite of her penchant for insisting all of her books have at least one cat in them site_link Francesca Hartwell adores cats of every kind Lions leopards tigers And they all love her Good thing she gets to see them every day since her father is their caregiver in the Tower of London s Royal Menagerie She d love to find a man with whom she could share her love of animals but so far no one has stolen her heart And there s the added snag that whoever she marries must not have anything to do with nobility as her mother had left her and her father for an earl. Royal menagerie tower of london John Fairgate has three rules given to him by his uncle Inherit the title of baron upon his uncle s death Give up ornithology And marry a childhood acquaintance The first two John will abide by but won t like But the third marrying a shrew who makes his skin crawl he simply cannot do Meeting Miss Francesca Hartwell at the zoo however has given him other ideas for a wife But she s not titled or wealthy How will he be able to convince his uncle that she s the woman of his heart Romance at the Royal MenagerieRomance at the Royal Menagerie is a delight to read Ruth J Hartman always puts her heart and soul into her books and this one is no different Romance at the Royal Menagerie is about a sweet caring and independent young woman named Francesca who didn t have a good female role model growing up She lives with her father and goes to the zoo where he works to give him a hand when needed Franny adores cats big and small The large cats at the zoo love and adore Franny also John a soon to be baron always loved the zoo and was excited to revisit one of his favorite places What he was not counting on was meeting a beautiful young lady who would change his life I found myself laughing and crying along with Ruth s characters Ruth has a way with words she makes you feel as if you apart of her book and the journey her characters are taking is yours I love Ruth s sense of humor and ability to capture your attention from page one I finished this book in only a few hours it was too good to put down Thank you Ruth for another great story Mystery Romance BIG cats as her father is a Zoo worker Her mother left when she was 9 years old she ran away with a man and not just any man a Earl This is the backdrop to understand where Francesca s fathers dislike for people men with a title comes from Francesca spends her time talking with the cats at the zoo but has to stay on the outside of the cages during the day at night though she sneaks in to visit her big feline friends. Royal menagerie tower of london One day a gentlemen visits the zoo and makes acquaintances with Francesca they find that they both have a big love for cats and Francesca is there to save Mr Fairgate when the gate to one cage opens This storyline is written at a great pace that you get to really know the characters and I felt I was able to form a likeness to Mr Fairgate John and Francesca They are both sweet mannered and easy to like Their spark forms at first sight We later find out that Miss Cartwright wants to marry Mr Fairgate as they are of the same class and have known each other for many years Miss Cartwright is not a likable character just cute innocent love courtship It was very well written that I was super excited to get an advanced review copy of Love Birds of Regent Park which will be out September 10th Come back to see my review on it the same day Mystery Romance Humor and Comedy Francesca Hartwell adores cats of every kind Lions leopards tigers And they all love her Good thing she gets to see them every day since her father is their caregiver in the Tower of London s Royal Menagerie She d love to find a man with whom she could share her love of animals but so far no one has stolen her heart And there s the added snag that whoever she marries must not have anything to do with nobility as her mother had left her and her father for an earl. Royal menagerie tower of london John Fairgate has three rules given to him by his uncle Inherit the title of baron upon his uncle s death Give up ornithology And marry a childhood acquaintance The first two John will abide by but won t like But the third marrying a shrew who makes his skin crawl he simply cannot do Meeting Miss Francesca Hartwell at the zoo however Romance Humor and Comedy Franny Francesca is a cat lover Her father works at the Tower Zoo and she helps out Her mother ran off with a titled man when she was nine So her father has always expressed a dislike for them and Franny is not to associate with them Franny wants to be loved and find someone to share her love of cats with She meets John at the zoo and they build a friendship and a whirl wind romance. The menagerie is for guests only Danger lurks in the shadows Another women is set on marring John and will not have anyone get in her way I felt the story flowed really well and the characters are likeable well except I didn t care for the nasty Miss Cartwright But we aren t suppose to like her I did find the ending a little rushed But a fun light story to escape the everyday If you are a lover of romance and cats I think you will like this one Just FYI This does not contain any swearing or sex Mystery Romance Humor and Comedy Francesca Hartwell adores the big cats at London s Royal Menagerie Her father has been their caretaker her whole life and has raised her by himself since her mother left them both to marry a wealthier man As a young woman Francesca s not allowed to be employed at the menagerie but helps her father anyway Sometimes when no one is looking she even goes inside the cages Why Because Francesca has a giftone that will come in quite handy when a handsome stranger walks into her life Enter John Fairgate raised and groomed by his titled uncle to take his place when he dies The old man hasn t got much time left and is desperate to see John married to a proper lady before he dies He s even picked out a lovely trick of a woman for his nephew that John can t stand in the least When John meets Francesca sparks fly but she s definitely NOT a proper lady in his uncle s eyes Ruth J Hartman tackles some timeless conflicts like love vs money while adding her own feline loving spin into the plot Francesca s gift with the big cats does prove quite handy when a villain tries to sabotage everything And really that s the only little criticism I had The villainry had a lot of potential but didn t provide quite the oomph that it could have Overall however this sweet regency romance was the purrfect distraction for a weekend by the pool I d recommend it to anyone who loves a quick non explicit tale with a feline twist Mystery Romance Humor and Comedy
