Caught by his vampire matei ig WTF In the first book the mates practiced a lot of bdsm and power play and we were told that vampire need that type of sex So the introduction of thisbeast and the lack of any of the bdsm that was NEEDED in the first book is very confusing I can t even explain how sad I am that this book turned out like thisI was sooooo excited Also there was some extremely odd back story going on with zombie like creatures controlled by an unnamed woman that we know nothing about I have no idea why this was added because it added nothing to the story except confusion There was also an issue for me when conlin s brother and ghost convince him to leave his mate bc they have a feeling something bad is going to happen That s his mate How could he just up and leave bc a ghost had a bad feeling about something that actually never came to pass The entire plot of this book was nonsensical and ridiculous The sex scenes were CONSTANT yet uninteresting and lacked any kind of heat I don t think the mates actually talked abt anything other than sex It seemed to be an odd pairing to me but if the characters had been written better and actually stopped having sex and showed a little bit of love for eachother maybe the book would be a little better needless to say IM BUMMED Erotic Romance.
