The arrival picture book A great sci fi read with a nice twist I loved this book and really enjoyed every bit of it Totally unique concept and well planned out plot Here we are taken to the time where the human race is facing grave danger due to the invasion of an alien race that are using our women and girls as a carrier to reproduce and continue the existence of their kind Amongst this chaos we find an utterly brave girl Miranda who has set a firm foot against all odds and is determined to save her and others alike and get them free. Suspense and will take you on a whirlwind ride Unpredictable twists and turns will shock you now and then and the quest that Miranda leads and the problems through which she drags herself out smartly and intelligently will surprise you The romantic scenes spiced up the read and the awesome writing style of the author made the read simple and easy for me and it didn t seem confusing at all Crisp dialogues and excellent presentation of the unknown race and the detailed descriptions regarding each and every aspect of the characters and the plot really made it a page turner The characterization is great and Miranda s developed character won the show for me She was confident.

The arrival picture book pdf A few of the others in the book club chose not to read this one because it was Sci fi and about Aliens now I m not calling them out I just say that to bring up my opinion I enjoy Sci fi for the most part but I am also very picky about it I have been let down by a few books in this genre so I tend to tread carefully this book however was not one that let me down and I believe the main reason for that was because the main focus is not really the Aliens but about the adventure the main character Miranda embarked on and her determination to save not only girls on Nidus but so many others I feel like it had of a Dystopian feel than Sci fi and since I love Dystopian I was just fine with that. The arrival wordless book I am a big fan of a strong bad ass heroine and Miranda was one I became very interested in She was very strong and in my eyes she had many set backs yet she found a way to power through and bounce back a bit Mays are leaders We never show weakness. The arrival time I am rooting for things to work out for her I was from the start and with that insane ending I can not wait to find out I am very interested in what will happen in the next leg of her journey Bryce was okay for me I liked him but I did not love him he was sweet and he helped Miranda through a lot but I found him a little blah However I do believe he is essential and I am glad Miranda has him for support I just could not connect with him Now I want to talk about Miranda s Dad but not to much cause the jerk face does not deserve it I have heard of emotionally constipated but this guy takes the cake I hate him I must add that I love this beautiful cover It would have definitely drawn me in if I came across it and I like that in a cover. 4 stars The Eslites is a science fiction piece taking place in our time and world This seemingly alien race has been stranded on our planet but after finding that we have females compatible with them they decide to stay and rule over us using and abusing our woman for their purpose To save their race We follow a girl Miranda Mays as she is brought in for compatibility testing and kept for egg extractions to make new Eslites However not everything is as it seems and when Miranda and her friends get pushed too far they decide to rebel putting their lives at risk Miranda especially since she leads their rebellion I really liked this book and want to see where the story goes I m guessing it ll be part of a series My biggest complaint is the holes in the plot and character instability There were so many things that weren t explained or described that we NEEDED but Miranda can ogle every guy she meets so we know their build and what their wearing We re told she s so stubborn and rebellious yet yet directly following that comment we see nothing but complacent Miranda until she talks back to Dimas the Eslite leader and her partner for reproduction recombination She s not the strong determined and rebellious character everyone would have us believe even when she s at the forefront of the rebellion Her wish washy character and feelings for Dimas and Bryce But despite those inconsistencies Doporto did a great job of creating and imagining these things Her locubots the tablets functions and capabilities trackers and nanocytes another friggin gorgeous cover from author C. Book The arrival M Doporto I m not the biggest sci fi fan but I read the short story The Eslites and really enjoyed it so I was delighted to be asked to Beta this one After reading the novella I was left with so many questions and this instalment gave me everything I had craved I found this book to be a fast paced and exciting read I also liked that the novel dealt with quite a controversial ethical topic but I really enjoyed that aspect OMG C. PDF The arrival I really loved reading how the girls lived on Nidus or should I say how they tried to stay alive Miranda really surprised me I found her to be so rebellious that s she was willing to risk her life to try and maybe not even succeed and save the others living on Nidus and the rest of the human race But most shocking for me was Miranda s dad her own father the asshat of asshats GRHH And that s all the time I m gonna waste on him Not sure if I like Bryce yet He is also an asshat compared to the prequel it took me a long while to get into the rhythm of this book But when I did this book I found was well written I loved the flow of the story Everything just came together nicely. The arrival time As for Miranda she was a character I couldn t really decide on what to think about her She had her moments where she was cool and other times where I would just roll my eyes but she wasn t that bad a majority of the time. The arrival year 6 planning Dimas I will be honest really freaked me the hell out To me in the beginning he came across as weird and creepy but as I read along he really did grow on me and I would love to know about him in the second book Took me a while to get to like him but he changed my mind in the end.
