I hated the main character He was arrogant and vain to a dangerous fault usually it was other people who got hurt he saw nothing wrong with and enjoyed raping slaves and never seemed to be sorry about anything Though the character is in fact Muslim he acts like every stereotype of odious white boy dudebro ever encountered I kept hoping he would redeem himself grow up learn change but I never really was convinced of them He claimed to be in love with his slave but the slave himself says he s a thief and a rapest for which the MC slaps him so hard his mouth starts bleeding True to life for the time period Perhaps But it doesn t make for pleasant reading Man in the Crescent Moon A Pirates of the Narrow Seas Adventure.
