Once they get past their stubbornness Martinez has shown that she is a versatile author Her ability to write horror fiction and then create a sweet romance series is mind blowing She does a fantastic job with this series It has a soft Christian undertone but with a modern flare I love that she can create such a romantic story without it being overly sexual It s a very refreshing read Perfect Contradiction is the perfect summertime read A sweet romance that shows second chances are possible I loved reading this book as much as I did the first one I recommend that you add this series to your reading list Horror.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review I began reading this book right after I finished reading Sweet Contradiction because it was the middle of the night and I couldn t sleep I have to say I liked Perfect Contradiction a whole lot than than Sweet Contradiction but I felt that it was missing a few details on Jen s and Hunter s relationship like when their relationship first started I can t be the only one that likes to know how the characters feel when they first meet right Those minor details aside I loved the pace of this story It wasn t rushed like the Beth and Matt s story and it spanned several months almost up to a year During that time we got to know Jen and saw what a strong resilient person she is with or without the support from Hunter She s someone who can survive whatever life decides to throw her way despite what people may say about her I ve read about so many characters who run away when they re dealt Jen s situation but Jen stays on and tries to push through Staying takes courage and for that I love Jen I was emotionally connected to Jen because she loves to bake just like I do She s honest and sweet and I found myself feeling her emotions when things brightened up for her or when everything seems like it s all going downhill I m honestly trying to wait patiently for the next installment in this series which is about Jackson who we met in this book Can t wait to read about and Perfect Contradiction gets 4 5 Platypires Horror Paranormal Fantasy This book was another sweet read This book picks up after Sweet Contradictions This book talks about Beth s best friend Jen and Matt s brother Hunter Such a sweet pregnancy romance Horror Paranormal Fantasy I received an copy of the this book in exchange for an honest review Perfect Contradiction is adorable I was just happy the whole way through It s so cute and so relatable It s a fabulous new adult read Jen Collins finds herself in a brand new place in life having lost her mother to cancer her best friend having just been married and her deciding to turn her home into a Bed and Breakfast complete with a bakery Oh yeah and she finds out she s pregnant But wait because the daddy up and ran when she had her own cancer scare before she found out about the baby Now she finds herself somewhat alone trying to care for her and her unborn baby She decides to keep it a secret at first until best friend Beth finds out She manages to keep it quiet for awhile but decided to tell Hunter he s going to be a Daddy That s when she sees him with another girl and doesn t tell him Eventually she decides to let the town in on her secret and that s when Jackson shows up the most gentlemanly man ever Now you know it gets good who does she choose Does she tell Hunter How and when does he find out What happens when he does I simply loved the story though I may be partial I m a fan of babies and all things pregnancy related It might be the professional newborn photographer in me The entire story is just so understandable yes this scene would happen like this and yes she would have that reaction and of course it would happen that way Jen had perfectly normal reactions to every situation she went through The Wright family was so adorable and helpful I want them to adopt me too Beth was an incredibly fun and loyal best friend Seriously the whole thing is just a feel good read Perfect for summer Perfect for Christmas time I wish there had been room for another book about Jen and Beth oh epilogues Any chance we can get a Jackson spin off This is the second book in the series though it is a stand alone I did not read the first book but you can bet I jumped right on and grabbed the first book to read now and I thought it was great all by itself. A perfect contradiction cd Jennifer is a true southern woman that is learning how to cope with the loss of her mother She is lucky to have her best friend Beth back that is helping her but after a scary chance of a cancer diagnosis herself she is falling apart a little. Perfect Contradiction fantasy premier This is just a super cute feel good book I hope that there will be of the series but it wraps up sweetly Horror Paranormal Fantasy I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for a honest review Jennifer Collins loves Hunter Wright She is scared to pursue anything because she was hurt When she needed him the most he left I understand Jennifer s need to protect herself Once you ve been hurt you ll do everything thing you can to prevent it again Now she fills lonely because everyone is moving on but her Jennifer has to learn to trust Learn to forgive Hunter is like Jennifer he is scared of being hurt too His fear is what caused him to run Fortunately their attraction and love brings them together You can tell that these two are meant to be together Paranormal Fantasy The sequel to the best selling romance Sweet Contradiction is here Perfect for fans of the TV shows Hart of Dixie and Gil Girls Grab a glass of sweet tea and get ready to be transported to a small country town where love can be such a contradiction Jennifer Collins is finally beginning to heal after losing her mother to cancer It s been a long road with scary turns but her best friend Beth helped her through the darkest moments But now Beth has gone and gotten herself hitched and Jen can t help but feel like she s all alone once again When Hunter Wright comes strolling back into town after leaving her behind without so much as a see ya later when she needed him the most Jen suddenly realizes she isn t as over him as she thought she was And perhaps she never would be But things are complicated now and Jen has a secret that makes it impossible for her to throw caution to the wind and fall back into the arms of the man who broke her heart Sometimes a new beginning a new life and a new outlook can mean so much than understanding and forgiveness Sometimes it can mean putting faith in someone who has the ability to hurt you or the ability to make you whole Jen knows than anyone that love can be such a Perfect Contradiction Perfect Contradiction Contradiction 2 Perfect ending to this series loved every second So glad the first book was free so I had the opportunity to read this series because it was so adorable and cute and believable and just perfect Horror Paranormal Fantasy It was 2am and my bed was covered in piles of work and at least a dozen tabs were open on my computer With deadlines looming and responsibilities demanding my attention the last thing I felt like I could do was press pause and open up a book However my review for said book was due very soon for the book tour and while I had procrastinated like a champion the time crunch was starting to stress me out So with every intention of powering through this book I opened it up and dove right in In retrospect I probably should not have started this book so late because once I got passed the first few pages I was no longer in my room surrounded by my work but rather I was blissfully content in Salem Missouri watching the lives of Jennifer Collins Hunter Wright and the many other colorful characters that comprise the world that is Perfect Contradiction unfold I am just going to start out by saying I love this book Everything about it is flawless to me The characters are believable and endearing even in their misguided moments The plot was seamless and easy to follow I didn t have to think about what I was reading and instead was able to let my eyes float across the page and enjoy the ride However while it was an easy read it was not predictable which is something I very much appreciated It is clear that Peggy Martinez took great care in crafting every aspect of this novel and this is a labor that is most certainly covered in love and talent Jen is a character I can absolutely relate to Having grown up in a southern religious home many of the attributes Jen possesses are the same that either run through my own veins or that of one my kin She cooks when she is angry she never has an idle moment and she always knows how to put a good ol southern smile on her face even when that is the last thing she wants to do In turn Hunter is plain and simple one of the good ol boys as we like to call them Raised by a preacher and a hard working but loving mother he knows all the right things to do and say but he doesn t always exercise that knowledge Without meaning to he sometimes falters at the most crucial moment and while this could make him a villain to some it made him human to me The situational artistry in this book is fantastic Martinez does and impeccable job of creating an authentic sweet southern romance without making that theme feel forced Every detail was sincere not put on like it so easily could have been Even the dialogue was crafted in a way that was believable and I am not ashamed to say that I heard the entire book with the most pleasant southern accent that exists What she has created is a world every southerner feels they could have lived through but further it is a world to which everyone regardless of region can relate There was than one occasion where I pictured my own town in the place of Salem and my own townsfolk were soon speaking the words Martinez penned I was specifically tickled at the church scenes with the clucking rumor mill Just too perfect This book took me by surprise emotionally I was not expecting to connect so strongly with these characters and become so invested in their well being I felt I really knew them in a way I have not experienced many times before Perhaps it was because I could easily interchange them with people I know and love fiercely or maybe it was because it depicted a deep seeded dream of a life I have always wanted a life filled with love honesty and joy but with twists and turns that I could have never anticipated This was a book about taking life as it comes and rising to the occasion My smile was accompanied by laughter and tears throughout this journey and I loved every moment It only took me four hours to read this book because I could not put it down Clearly I give this book 5 out of 5 stars and I have no shame in being clich and saying it is PERFECT So even though I stayed up all night and I still have tons of work to do I have already downloaded the first book in the series they can be read as standalones and therefore out of order and fully intend on reading it immediately Horror Paranormal Fantasy was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Book Perfect contradiction def The second I finished book one of this series I needed this one Yes they are stand alones but I absolutely adored Jen and needed to read her story The moment it became available for review I jumped at the opportunity. Book Perfect contradiction syn Although the drama is much different from Sweet Contradiction it is definitely still there There were than a few times where I was banging my head against my Kindle cursing both Jen and Hunter for their insolence. Book Perfect contradiction def No offense to Beth and Matt but this story was much better in my opinion Plus I never felt there with details being skipped This one just felt perfect Ha I m so funny Anyway I hear the story of Jackson is next That ll be interesting So here I am at the end of another of these books waiting for the next one to come out. Book Perfect contradiction syn Perfect Contradiction was fantastic Highly recommend this series Horror Paranormal Fantasy Loved this story as much as the first in the series Horror Paranormal Fantasy As much as I loved Beth story I wasn t okay with Jen s decisions in this book I partly understood her reasons but I still think her actions were rash I started to browse the book after she drove him away to San Louis and when Jackson popped up my only thought was if she sleeps with him I m done with the book for good Thankfully that didn t happen but the book was spoiled for me I liked the Jen in the first book but this one Not so much If those two had communicated they would have avoided all the misunderstandings All in all this book was a disappointment and worth only 2 stars Horror Paranormal Fantasy
