Volume 2 description When Xion loses her Keyblade it s Roxas s job to make sure no one finds out As long as the two can go on missions together no one will know that it s Roxas collecting all the hearts But will Demyx blow their little secret And when the Organization issues an order to Xion to capture an outsider masquerading as one of its members who will come out on top in the ensuing battle Kingdom Hearts 358 2 Days 3Loved it Manga I grew a greater appreciation for Luxord in this manga I know he has a bigger role to play in the Kingdom Hearts franchise but it is not made clear Roxas is paired up with Luxord on a mission to Wonderland but his mind is on Xion who has been in a deep sleep While Luxord tests Roxas on his abilities Axel visits Castle Oblivion to discover the truth about Xion Meanwhile Xion sees a boy named Sora and his friends in her dreams Who is Sora Why does he feel important to her Manga From Kingdom Hearts 2 we know that you can t have than one nobody but then what is Xion Find out her origins in this volume Manga I m kind of surprised how much I liked the manga adaptations of Kingdom Hearts 358 2 Days especially since the actual game was sort of a miss for me I found the the pacing of the game glacial and the feeling of the Org XIII Headquarters very bleak However the manga goes along steadily and the interaction between the Organization members is really entertaining It seems like the strange humor that occurs in the previous mangas KH1 Chain of Memories and KH2 is better managed I never really understood why people liked the nobodies of Organization XIII so much From playing the games I just couldn t relate or sympathize with any of them but Roxas and Axel However I legitimately liked a few of the members by the end of this manga series Reading 358 2 before I read the KH2 manga series paid unexpected dividends because I was able to enjoy the humorous interactions between Sora and the Org XIII members so much By the way can anyone confirm that Demyx is the Org XIII member that gets blasted by the Clay system in the 2nd KH2 manga Because that would have been even HILARIOUS than it already was if true Anyway there s a good improvement in the overall quality of this manga adaptation The art is consistently good The story is well managed even with the extras thrown in I really get a sense of Roxas Axel and Xion s feelings throughout I would absolutely recommend this series to anyone who wants greater insight into the characters and story line between KH1 and KH2 Manga It is a great book to read Manga.
