African Venus bookworm

I won this book from Goodreads It seemed to be written for a younger audience high school maybe I felt like there was story to be told and the ending felt very hasty Cover art needs some work it s badly pixelated An interesting story about a lovely piece of art Paperback Princess Nima only daughter of the King is targeted to get back at the King because of the slave trade The Princess is kidnapped and shipped to France There she meets an artist Charles Cordier who likes to sculpt the beautiful things people he sees Nima is sent to pose for him The imagined story is of the woman who posed for the African Venus. African venuslaan eindhoven I loved the story After seeing the sculpture and reading the book you feel that it all actually happened and fall in love with it Paperback
