Terrific lighthearted love story duo grat rainy day read for me The book follows two longtime female friends who work for a ball team and must relocate for the job The female characters are beset by real life problems that stem from difficult childhoods The wealthier male characters are not without their own troubles mixing it all into a relationship is the basis for the book I think Kate Angell conveyed a realistic portrayal of human emotion and relationships Great read English Received an ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest reviewKate Angell never fails to deliver and her latest Barefoot Williams book doesn t disappoint.

Especially with the wonderful tie in with her Richmond Rogues series. No sunshine when shes gone pdf book I love romances with both a primary and secondary romance Whilst the focus was on Aidan Jillie Mac and Sadie of course 3 Mike Carrie were the interesting couple for me The jacuzzi scene was a real highlight. Ain't no sunshine when she’s gone only darkness every day My only mini gripe is that the book ended with 2 engagements given the short time frame that both couples knew each either for I thought that was just a bit too sugary sweet English This book was great It might be my favorite Barefoot William book although I want to go back and reread No Tan Lines I like the connection between this series and the Richmond Rogues series I really enjoyed the animal characters in this book Sadie and Olive were fabulous Kate writes great books can t wait for the next one I will be rereading the baseball books in the meantime This was a re read for me I think my earlier review still holds up English This continues the Barefoot William series with two couples featuredAidan Cates and Jillian McMillan and her dearest friend Carrie Waters and Mike Burke I strongly urge people consider reading this series in order in order to understand the dynamics between the characters and Saunders Shore and Barefoot William English Nice sunny story about a contractor building a baseball spring training facility and a PR person for the team that will be using it She has issues believing in commitment because of her dad s abandonment and growing up poor He doesn t really have any though he s suspicious of her at the beginning because of some minor deceptions There s also a sub romance that seems awfully unlikely to me the way it develops but my disbelief was well suspended so I just went with it English Life s a BeachThough his family owns the charming beachside town of Barefoot William Aidan Cates is as down to earth as the locals He s also practical to a fault and doesn t believe some psychic on the boardwalk can predict his future. Barefoot William Beach 3 Kate Angell is so amazingly great at story telling I absolutely loved this book It is my second read of this series and thought it would be difficult to love the story and characters as much as I did with book 2 in the barefoot Williams series but Jillian Mac and Aidan were soooo good together And then the side couple as well Oh yes This book was the perfect contemporary read and some how I always just dive into these stories I cannot wait to continue with the Barefoot Williams series English Cute beach read for an afternoon Good characters with a nice romance English Fun book It opens as Aidan who owns the successful construction company building the new baseball training facility and his girlfriend wander the Psychic Festival on the pier at Barefoot William Lily wants to know what s in store for their relationship while Aidan knows exactly where it s going and it isn t the altar When Lily settles on a psychic neither she nor Aidan expects the reading they received In a great scene the psychic opened Aidan s eyes then disappeared before he discovered she was an imposter Determined to confront her Aidan sets off in hot pursuit eventually catching up with her Jillie arrived in Barefoot William a few days before she starts work As the Community Liaison for the Richmond Rogues it s her job to drum up support for the team while their new spring training facility is built On her first day in town she explores the place she ll live for the following year While resting her feet at an empty table she couldn t resist the chance to have a little fun and save Aidan from disaster at the same time But while she knows who he is he has no idea that they ll soon work together I enjoyed the first meeting between Jillie and Aidan The sparks flew between them from the start though not all of them were pleasant Jillie tends to bend or stretch the truth on occasion while Aidan is a straight shooter Jillie s revelations were a slight blow to Aidan s pride though he wouldn t admit it Jillie felt a little guilty but having been on the receiving end of a similar situation she thought Aidan should know sooner rather than later When they meet again once Aidan gets over his anger at the deception and learns of their connection he wants to get to know her better Jillie is a little gun shy having just ended a relationship I liked watching Jillie and Aidan get to know each other Aidan is a nice guy confident and well known for his kindness He s close to his family and protective of them Jillie is fun and free spirited but she has trouble trusting in others ability to commit thanks to childhood baggage I enjoyed watching Aidan show Jillie around his town and work his way past her walls with the help of his dog Sadie He quickly realizes that he than likes her but tries to be patient with her fears Jillie s feelings for Aidan are just as strong but she has trouble believing that he s in it for the long haul When she freaks out over those feelings it takes patience on Aidan s part and some advice from her friend Carrie to help her past her fears I liked Jillie s courage in facing her fears and confessing her feelings to Aidan I loved seeing Jillie settle into life in Barefoot William She is very much a people person and there were some terrific scenes of her doing her job around the town I thoroughly enjoyed the Rogues vs town softball game and how Jillie made it work Aidan had an amusing flare up of jealousy regarding one of the Rogues players and I laughed out loud at the resolution of that incident She showed her creative bent with community relations with an exciting idea involving the facility s sidewalk I hope to see of her and Aidan in future books There was a secondary romance between Jillie s friend and coworker Carrie and Aidan s second in command Mike Mike is a rough around the edges guy who is bitter about how his baseball dreams ended He tends to be snide and sarcastic when he isn t comfortable This attitude is front and center when Mike and Carrie meet making some very obnoxious remarks to and about her A victim of severe abuse as a child Carrie came out the other side with a surprisingly good attitude However she does have some self esteem issues which make her wary of Mike s interest I liked seeing them first become friends Mike turns out to be surprisingly sweet and protective and I enjoyed seeing him do little things to make her life easier It didn t take long for attraction to blossom and deeper feelings quickly followed Mike s life takes a surprising No sunshine when shes gone book pdf This is the first book that I have read by Kate Angell and needless to say I will be going back to read the first two books in the Barefoot William series Aiden Cate is a very caring down to earth man He first meets Jillian when she is mistaken for a fortune teller and Aiden automatically senses something about her and is drawn to her for some reason Jillian s information that she gives Aiden and Lila his girlfriend at the time catches him off guard but the information in true and eye opening for him. No sunshine when she's gone lyrics Jillian has had a rough life and works very hard for what she has and don t spend a lot of money or time on herself Once she does the reading she knows that she is in trouble because she felt the draw to Aiden too Although Aiden tells her over and over again how he feels she is afraid to take a chance and afraid of her feelings for him. No sunshine when shes goneh song Loved Sadie and Olive she kept me laughing every time she would talk and then we have Carrie and Mike I would have like to have seen each of these couples have their own story because I thought that we saw of Carrie Mike s relationship than we did Jillian Aiden but their stores were both wonderful Can t wait to see what comes next English The story begins when Jill gets mistaken by a man and his date as a psychic at a carnival in the newtown she s in She knows things about the man known as Aiden Cates and his girlfriend So she takes the opportunity to tell him a few things she knows about his girlfriend Then she takes off. No sunshine when she's gone lyrics However Aiden can t seem to get her out of his head and he finds out that she was a fake Now than ever he must find her and make her pay But he didn t realize that he would end up working with her for the next year but that s exactly what happen Now these two must figure out their feelings while also dealing with each other for a year This book was good I really enjoyed the whole plot line from start to finish It had me hooked right at the beginning because of how unique and funny it was then it just got better and better. He no sunshine when she's gone And the characters were just as interesting as well I loved both the hero and heroine They made a very interesting couple and it was exciting to see them get together I also enjoyed the side characters romance as well Mike and Carrie were great together also The only downside to this story was towards the end I was a little annoyed and confused with some of the things that Jill did toward the end It didn t make a lot of sense to me Then when she finally fixed the problem the story just ended rather abruptly So overall I really thought the book was goodand I look forward to reading of this series English
