Pdf call of the whisperwind book My Thoughts I absolutely fell in love with Jeffree s writing in her first book in the series Destiny at Oak Valley I thought she hit the ball out of the park in the first book which would mean this one was a grand slam There are several things I loved about this book While we got a glimpse at Rachel and Matt s new life in Oak Valley this book gives us a better look into their relationship and life in the 19th century. Pdf call of the whisperwind book Ladies have you ever read a book and fallen in love with a male character Well wait until you read this Matt is an amazing character He knew what he was getting into when he married Rachel knew she came from the future and that she wasn t like most women of his time But the thing I love about him is that he didn t try to change her He let her do her thing and bring the future back with her She told him how things were in her time and he let her be that woman Things were quite different for women back then Most stayed in the house and were homemakers But that wasn t Rachel s life She wanted a job she got one in the medical field And Matt was her biggest supporter She knew there were changes coming in the near future for homes so when they made a new home he let her pick out what she wanted trusting that even though it was a pretty penny it would all be worth it in the end Indoor plumbing included Matt was supportive to a wife from a different century than most husbands are in this era when women in the workforce are the norm. Call of the whisperwindforge I also absolutely love Rachel Can you imagine making that decision Going back in time in a freak accident falling in love and deciding to stay in the 19th century instead of coming back to the future what would you do Now that she s there she knows things are going to be different but I love how she brings the future back with her She shares the future with her husband and her in laws They take it in stride She says like babies cooking in the oven which make no sense to people of that time What is an oven I found myself giggling throughout a lot of the book when everyone was so confused by what she was saying.
