First let me say I absolutely love Nicole s ability to tell a story Her plots keep you locked in the story until the bitter end I knew there would be another book because she couldn t leave us with a cliff hanger like that I didn t particularly care for the ending because I wanted but that just means I will read the next book lol What made me give the book a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating was the problem I ve had from the beginning book in the seriesgood editing As I started reading I thought it was going to get better but there was a point when I put the book down because I was so frustrated This is one of the things that takes away from a good book trying to figure out what the author is saying or the meaning of what s being said The story itself 5 stars definitely the grammatical and punctuation errors 2 stars overall 4 stars I hope the next book has a new editor 266 In this new installment Miss Perfect by Nicole Dunlap readers are re introduced to Raven Shaw and her dysfunctional family Raven has acquired problems while dealing with her bipolar disorder Raven is pregnant and pursuing school and photography but also trying to keep a blackmailer at bay With the blackmailer lurking Raven decides to take self defense classes Raven and Jon s neighbor Ty a detective offers to help Raven Raven starts having feelings for Ty Raven tries to ignore her attraction to Ty because she is still with Jon Jon and Raven s union is still a rollercoaster but their love for each other is still strong and Raven holds onto that notion but will it keep her from pursuing Ty Charlene Raven s mother is still trying to repair the relationship with her daughter Raven is stubborn but Charlene will not give up When she finds out that Raven is being blackmailed Charlene steps up to help Charlene and Raven will have to face their secrets especially when the blackmail and stalking gets out of hand Miss Perfect is another thrilling suspense novel in the Shaw series Readers learn about Raven s manipulating side as well as Charlene s issues I appreciate the author introducing about Raven s daughter Royael and how she is taking on some of her mother s characteristics I am hoping the author will provide readers with one Shaw episode that focuses on Royael This is an entertaining family that needs to surround themselves with some positive people instead of the troubled ones they attract I look forward to reading of this author s work I recommend Miss Perfect to others This book was provided by the author for review purposes.
