You will probably enjoy this book though Paperback This story takes place in Texas and is about a young couple who has been married for 10 years and find themselves pregnant Cody the hockey player and goalie for the team is at odds with himself because he feels he will not be a good father since his father was never around when he was growing up and like himself was a hockey player His wife Jo is trying to give him the strength and courage he needs to overcome his fears while she is going through her own set of emotions On top of all of that the team is making a push for the playoffs and she is planning a trip to her parents home This is a good story with a lot of emotions and the author really gets to the pressure points of any young couple that is expecting their first child Then you put family and friends on top of all of that and you have the makings of a really good story I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

The snow child kindle book This was probably a better book than I m giving credit Butler improved over the first book in the series by at least labeling the time jumps by labeling each chapter There just wasn t enough depth for me in this book It felt like it was a bridge between something and I m not sure what I was left pretty empty and feel like there are all of these dangling threads but I m not exactly disappointed because in 2 books now I have yet to develop much of an affinity for any of these characters If you did in Book 1 having never read anything by her before I was happy with it I got this book from net galley Paperback I just found out I will be getting an advanced free copy from the Goodreads giveaway So excited I can t wait to receive the book and review it Watch for my review to come soon Paperback I did not read the first book in the series and I felt a bit at a disadvantage reading this one I felt a little adrift in the beginning as I needed a bit background to be up to speed on the back story and group details and dynamics Once I felt comfortable though the author drew me into her world and I began to care about the characters I enjoyed the read well enough to go back and look into book one and I will read in the series The point of view moves back and forth in time which can be a little confusing but once I got the hang of Ms: Heart and snow pdf download l Butler s writing style it totally made sense I received my copy from NetGalley.
