The moon under water - jd wetherspoon
Her best friend from childhood college years dies she leaves Alex property and writes her a letter telling a very shocked Alex that Cathy and Sam had a two year affair resulting in a child A girl named Lauren aka Roxy The affair was in the early years of their marriage after their first son was born Alex had no idea and is obviously very confused Especially when she keeps getting hit with lies Sam refuses to give any details and just plain refuses to talk about it In his head it s in the past But for Alex it s very much like it happened yesterday. Ebook the moon under water pdf To say I was Team Alex with this book would be an understatement Mike being a close second Alex is understandably very thrown about the secret history of her marriage Everything has been re written in her eyes When she thinks back to the time of the affair it happened when she had a tough birth with their first son Which I found fucking disgusting Women go through so much during pregnancies.

I found her to be really mean especially to Alex Carla eventually starts siding with Sam which I found weird And then the real reason why she d been acting cold to Alex is revealed I found beyond ridiculous I hated how the character of Mike got shafted as the bad guy I guess someone had to be in the end since everyone had to convince Alex that Sam is best husband material Mike is Carla s ex husband He is another big support for Alex They ve all been close friends for years since their toddler s met in class Alex turns to Mike because they are both going through a horrible patch in their marriages Eventually a very steamy kiss happens between them After that.
Beneath the moon book review
Anger and sadness for the fallout of their marriages Mike and Alex took comfort in a kiss I thought power to them for stopping Sam couldn t seem to do that during his affair At least Alex had self control He did not stop himself So I don t know where he got off being furious There was one line he said that made me almost stop reading I couldn t believe he said it especially after he spent years covering his ass hoping she wouldn t ever find out and still refused to talk about his affair with Alex I necer thought in a million years that you d find it so hard to forgive me ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME He cheated on her with her best friend after she d just given birth for over 2 years and had a child with her He could barely forgive her for a kiss with another guy What a hypocrite That kiss was the worst thing to happen in this book because suddenly it went from Sam s transgressions to Alex s after that she kicked herself for being the immoveable object in their marriage woes All the blame went onto her shoulders Which is why at the end she s running to him to beg for forgiveness instead of Sam being the one to finally beg for a second chance And that is the second time I have read something like that in a cheating book The cheatee running after the one who cheated I hope I never do again Because it s wrong Sam should have done to convince Alex of his love not the other way around I think she proved she loved him way before like not divorcing his ass and trying to connect with his love child Roxy Having Mike be madly in love with Alex was the also unbelievable Honestly part of me was hoping she d run off into the sunset with him They had way chemistry and connection than anyone else And he hadn t cheated on her So that was a plus in his column My biggest disappointment with this book was the ending I really did not like how everyone started to excuse what Sam did And tried to influence Alex into forgiving him Especially Verity That talk was all kinds of awful and awkward Honestly Cathy has got to be one of the worst friends I have ever read I couldn t even sympathise that she died because she was so awful to Alex Cathy fucked her husband for 2 years.

The moon under water fiction book comFull list of published full length works As well as the titles listed below I am also the ghostwriter of a series of fostering memoirs the author name is pseudonymous for confidentiality reasons for one of the UK s leading publishers The first was published in 2011 and the nineteenth title will be published in May 2020 Psychological thrillersCan You See Me Thomas and Mercer site_link I ve never had to deal with infidelity in my life or my relationships I hope I never do But it s always something I ve wondered how I would react if it happened to me I guess that s why I am drawn to cheating stories I like to see how an author can tackle such a big hit to a relationship Can a couple rebuild their foundation or is there just to much damage done The older I get the I realise it s not so black and white The Moon Under Water is a little different because the affair happened 18 years ago But only recently comes out and sets off a whole chain of events disrupting many character s lives. The moon under water fiction book Alex is married to Sam They have with two sons They ve been together for over 20 years When Cathy birth breastfeeding taking care of a newborn To have the father of your child turn to another in that time is despicable Alex was torn to shreds giving birth to his kid he can t wait for her to recover so he fucks her best friend At one point Sam literally says he was young back then and just wanted keep a girlfriend on the side WHAT THE HELL That s his excuse While she s at home feeling unattractive because her boobs are leaking he s complaining he s stressed out with school but he can find the time to do her bestie What a prince I m glad Alex could not let it go Especially when she keeps finding out and that Sam has neglected to mention Like that Cathy contacted him when her mother was ill and they met up in the last recent years SERIOUSLY She just kept finding out and lies. The moon under water - jd wetherspoon I wanted to find something likeable about Sam I wish we had seen of their marriage before affair news broke Because after that I found Sam intolerable Not just because he s a cheater but it was the way he spoke to Alex If I heard Christ Al one time I was going to through my Kindle out the window I hated how defensive and dismissive he got And how Sam kept trying to not talk about it like it didn t happen just leave it in the past Maybe a one night drunken mistake could so easily have been but a 2 year affair with the product of an eighteen year old daughter Not happening Alex was far kinder than he deserved My issue is that Sam didn t try to fix his marriage at all He just wanted to sweep his misdeeds under the rug and pretend they didn t exist He kept hoping Alex would just get over it I liked Carla at the beginning She seemed like a solid supportive friend But as the book goes on I felt all blame got put on Mike in order to fix Alex and Sam s marriage and her friendship with Carla It was a cop out Sam s audacity to be furious that in a moment of weakness confusion had his child bequeathed Alex property where they used to meet during their clandestine affair named her daughter what Alex had planned on naming her daughter if she had one a name that was very dear to both her and Sam and she made up fake love stories to Roxy about her and Sam Kindle Edition This book worked until the last 10 pages The wife has done nothing wrong and the author has her apologizing for not forgiving him faster The last 10 pages should have been his grovel and her accepting and forgiving him not the other way around So freaking annoying Kindle Edition 12 20In the interest of honesty my reasons for loving cheating stories has become clear to me I love the angst The gut punch The rage I now realizeEven if I hate the hero I still love the story Everything I wrote below is still correct but I love the trope So stars going up. The moon under water watford 2017SPOILERSThis once again proves my theory that some authors hate their heroines This sucks big time and not even the excellent writing skill of this author makes up for it Not once does the hero apologize for cheating on her with her best friend and conceiving a child with said best friend But the heroine does REPEATEDLY For not being forgiving enough lol I m just shaking my head and patting myself on the back for having borrowed not bought this book Kindle Edition This is a story of married life You think everything s great and then BANG You get hit with shocking news Will this couple make it work I enjoyed this The h was justifiably upset The H was not very understanding of her feelings He thought everything should be forgiven The last chapter and HER apologizing did tick me off Kindle Edition BoringI couldn t make it past chapter 4 First I didn t like the writing style at all I went into this really wanting to like it as it was recommended by a group However I wasted my money ugh Fell into the trap again Kindle Edition
