She is shy and quiet She is also deaf After an accident took her hearing when she was 16 she has left her hometown and started fresh in a place where she can just blend in But blending in doesn t work so well for her when she catches Nate s eye He is the owner of the construction company doing renovations at the library A hot contractor who not only is handy but also wears a kilt why aren t there sexy beasts walking around in these. Just a little kilted lyrics Nate has raised his daughter alone for the last decade His ex is crazy and easily abandoned both the marriage and her child years ago He had used poor judgement when it came to selecting his female companions but seeing Zoe and seeing her interact with Mandy changes all of that As these two grow closer the ex comes back into the picture She is territorial over the family she walked away from.

Caring and very selfless She harbored some insecurities because of her deafness She catches the eye of hunky contractor Nate There s something about Zoe that draws Nate in I loved seeing their relationship develop and how Zoe slowly came out of her shell I absolutely loved Mandy she was so beautiful inside and out her relationship with her father and Zoe was great There were some tense moments in the story and I was on edge poor Zoe I highly recommend this book and can t wait to continue the series 216

Great book I loved Angus and Jenna and Nate and Zoe They had me laughing and crying and I m definately ready to read of this series 216 I loved both the stories in this book Both were different but had a great story line to it Can t wait to read the next Just a Little series book 216 I read this on my Kindle app and didn t realize it was actually two different stories by two authors all in one purchase Both were very enjoyable Both had somewhat unbelievably perfect heroes but were entertaining none the less 216 I was surprised to find two stories in onetotally unexpected. Two short stories sweet romance. Just a little kilted lyrics This was kind of cute The setting is a Scottish festival in Connecticut Jane has been burned in the past and doesn t think much of men Along comes hunky sexy Scottish speaking Angus He sees her wants her woos her They have hot sex She s the only one for him and she melts. Just a little kilted lyrics As always never recovering from her first heartbreak She has a love for all thing Scottish due to her step dad but his actions leave her feeling a little jaded towards men than before Set to be the makeup effects artist for the annual Scottish American Highland Festival she meets Angus He is in charge of the two day festival and is all parts man even in his kilt There is no real drama in this but a few sexy scenes and even a few comical ones Overall it was a cute short read Quiet Kilted by Shayne McClendon I had enjoyed The Barter System by this author but had not read anything else she had published so I was excited to get into this one The story was a little bit longer and although there was the instant connection love scenario this one came with a bit of drama thrown in.
