Book Castle heritage valley
Don t know when where or how I acquired this book but I m glad I found it in my library The first few chapters had me wondering whether I was re reading a version of Rebecca complete with the simpleton who says Her gone into the sea Then the book grew into it s own and I found myself caught up in the Heritage Blaise Pendellow saga Had I not been so wrapped up in the story I should have been able to guess who was the antagonist The final two pages did surprise me tho All in all I m very glad I read this book 9780872165120 I read this book several years ago but figured I d leave some kind of a review now since I recently reviewed the rest of the Moonstone Gothic series by Playboy Press This is the first in the MG series and it was the only one I actually liked enough to give three stars As far as quick pulpy reads go where you really aren t expecting much except to be entertained and distracted from the real world for a little bit I recall this fit the bill just fine It was also the Moonstone with the most true gothic flavor by far I am amused by the cover which made sure to show the heroine in a remarkably form fitting gown Seems appropriate for a book published by Playboy Enterprises 9780872165120
