The club is owned by Connor Starks who is a wealthy business man They engaged in a non sexual awkward relationship She s sold in an auction and leave to live in England with one of the many men she d had sex with who she refers to as The Russian. I give the book 2 stars I admire anyone that can sit down and write a book This book was given for an ARC for an honest review 132 I received this from the Author in exchange for a honest review. Beneath all the erotica and all the sexual encounters the story comes down to the one we all know and desire A boy meets girl She baffles him and intrigues him He wants to get to know her but doesn t know how so he invites her into his world surreptitiously He chooses her so to speak but under the guise of being a employer Boy tries to get to know her but is awkward puts foot in mouth and fight ensues Boy does bonehead move what boy doesn t when ego and pride are involved and girl slips away His ego makes him think she ll be back but will she So boy worries.

Girl gets in a quagmire and boy rescues girl They like each other and boy wants to earn her love for he is hopelessly in love with her but she will not go easily Although she does have feelings for him to no matter how boneheaded and stupid he was That is the crux of the story. what brings this to a different level Well Connor Starks for one he is the bonehead who screws up Connor sees Kate Miss Vale to Connor and falls for her But instead of asking her out he feels she needs to be ready for him and he needs to get to know her first bonehead move is about to come although I give him credit it is one very explicit way to find out about ones potential mate So what is the bonehead move he interviews her for his Billionare s sex club See majour bonehead move for who gets to know someone by making them a plaything for others hello He sets her up at his house that was a nice move and treats her beautifully especially in her aftercare but don t worry we are getting to his majour bonehead move and I do mean majour Boy has an ego the size of Manhattan and than some geesh He asks her out so sweet He tries to talk to her but that doesn t go well So what does he do that s boneheaded he actually took her up on a suggestion and than doesn t participate He loses her to a Russian and in a colossal ego moment when she is leaving assures her this is her time to grow and she will be back.

This had all the elements I usually like in a story but some aspects of it didn t quite work for me The main character Kate is willingly eagerly even sold like a rich man s chattel and then used and abused by the men and their various members of staff It was all a bit of a sudden change from being a waitress especially as Kate had showed no sign of enjoying anything like that previously There were lots of erotic scenes but she seemed distant and cut off from what was happening and focused on observing the pleasures of others She started the book as a waitress serving people and that theme continued throughout she just went from handing out champagne flutes to um handing out other pleasures. I found the main character pretty hard to like She was a cold fish and she hid her true feelings so well that even when she did seem to be enjoying herself I wasn t quite convinced. The other aspect of the story that didn t quite work for me was her infatuation with her first owner Conner Stark In spite of the fact that they only enjoyed one evening together which was a sweet non date and he washed other men s semen from her face and hair in what was designed to be a tender scene um quite the only other time they saw one another was when he watched her with others I just didn t feel the attraction between them Much of the book is spent with a shady Russian masochist who in spite of his shadiness actually grows through the book and learns to become tender and gentle in his own way I found myself rooting for him instead I think I need to see someone for that SPOILER ALERT perhaps if we got to read about them finally being together at the end it would have felt like they both got a happy ending but for some reason we never get to see them together i think I like a little romance in my stories than there is in this. Anyway what did work well was the whole over privileged world created in this book It was well described and I could really picture it There were lots of really hot and creative scenes Kate s relationship with Alicia her sounding board was sweet and genuine as was her platonic relationship with her personal trainer who helps her in spite of the threat of great personal danger. Worth a read if you enjoy BDSM erotica 132
