Awesome Almond Crackers and Fresh Spring Rolls with Orange Almond Sauce to name a few This book is a must for those wanting to eat healthier or for those who are already eating gluten vegan and healthy It is a great resource for everyone and a wonderful addition to anybodies cookbook collection. The blender girlt telegram I have to admit that when I was first looking at the book I didn t think I would be able to find anything that I would like I have never been very adventurous in what I eat and I figured that it would be hard to make these recipes and that they would be like eating grass Boy was I wrong on all counts I will not like all of the recipes.

Blender girl mint kiwi smoothie There was a lot of different kinds of blending recipes of not only smoothies but entres that involve the blender but had solid food in the meal If that makes any sense Cookbooks Nonfiction Contemporary While the recipes are nothing new I really enjoyed the first 35 pages of the book where she breaks down alkaline PH balance sprouting your foods and a few theories that I haven t thought much about which is hydrating yourself first thing in the morning eating specific fruits until noon and probiotic rich foods to help your guts Well I already knew about probiotic foods but she dives a little deeper I love to hear someone agree with my ideas about highly processed salt vs a natural unbleached not chemically processed salt which is actually hydrating and GOOD for your body I only buy natural salt It wasn t silly theories it was actual science and truth about salt which I m always trying to tell people about but people start to glaze over because people only know the basics which is salt is bad so limit it Yes but PURE salt is actually helps alkalize the body and help regulate digestion and circulation I actually tried sipping baking soda throughout the day like she suggests and I felt SO much better the next day I love her theories about sprouting foods to help digestion I haven t tried it but I always soak almonds before I make pesto so I m going try sprouting foods and see if it makes a difference I m a big believer that how we eat food and what we eat changes how we feel So this was great book for me I read the first 35 pages 2x and I keep referencing it for ideas Cookbooks Nonfiction Contemporary The smoothies and soups in this book look delicious I am just too lazy to make them Soak nuts beforehand roast veggies first for complex flavor blend in batches Ain t nobody got time for that Cookbooks Nonfiction Contemporary Make it all in your blender Really That is what Tess Masters saysits easy its simple and healthy You can make smoothies ice cream soups juices and the foundation of just about any meal She supplies you with information about blenders and how to use the various functions to make your stomach happy These recipes are all gluten free and vegan Do yourself a favor buy a blender Cookbooks Nonfiction Contemporary I know I like to use the blender for smoothies soups sometimes in the food processor but she supplies even She tells us to love our blender and how to choose one which I have learned over the years why I use the nutribullet versus the vitamix and food processor but replaced my other blender wash our fruits veggies which I usually just do warm water care for our b lenders which I have overloaded and burned it out before even juicer and tells us to soak instead of going broke I never considered soaking veggies or nuts and cut up veggies which some will stuff their Vitamix these costs 250 500 and do not want to see it break no time soon I finally bought one a couple months ago as birthday gift in May She shares she her health which caused her to change her eating habits and diet which I notice I am now gluten free and already since childhood was lactose had a daily intolerant issue and was always sick when I drank milk from vegetarian to vegan to raw food diet for example I have wanted to practice pescetarian but failed then vegetarian doing pretty good now except every now and then eat fish shrimp and realized shrimp doesn t make me feel too good and want to be a vegan My health needs it and tired of being over 200 pounds on and off since I was 19 My willpower is not easy being with someone who loves sweets and meats Yet I pay attention to what foods are doing to my body. The blender girl food combining I found this book to be interesting unique and easy to follow the recipes I learned about foods and blending that I didn t know before like how to soak nuts to make them work better in recipes The recipes are well explained and easy to follow which is to me always a plus The recipes are healthy and you can find a recipe that can complete any meal or snack you might want during the day She also shows you recipes to help with things like Acid Reflux and good Probiotics This book is really an interesting mix of healthy information ideas and recipes but don t let that turn you away if you think that is all it is because the recipes are wonderful and healthy The book has great pictures included to show the end results of the recipe which is great too A few of the recipes I think I will be trying soon like Rich But Simple Tomato Soup Papaya Pleasure Blend but who ever does there are enough different recipes that I have found several to try and even some my husband the picky eater would like I would give this book 4.
