Cute story Would be cute to pair with Goodnight Gorilla in a zoo display Kids will love how they are in on the secret of the chaos that is about to occur at the zoo Also all is well I the end because of the little boy in the story English This entertaining tale looks at an accident prone zookeeper and his careful son preparing for an animal parade The well written text is brought to life by first rate illustrations The digital illustrations have a collage feel incorporating different texts images and patterns and Waldron includes many funny aspects in the scenes if the reader is observant enough to pick them out This entertaining tale would work well as a read aloud for a small elementary aged group so that they could study the illustrations or one on one English Mr Peek is all in a dither as he tries to get the zoo and the animals ready for a parade in honor of the arrival of a baby panda But he is distracted and keeps forgetting things If it weren t for Jimmy his son things would be even of a mess than they are Young readers will enjoy noticing what s happening behind Mr Peek s back in the digital illustrations as he moves through the zoo English I enjoyed the story and the Mr Peek s word choices Want to read in PreK storytime English Charming entertaining story about adult incompetence and kids saving the day English Zookeeper Mr Peek causes pandemonium again Peek Zoo is holding an animal parade to celebrate the birth of their baby panda But when the day arrives nothing is ready As Mr Peek races around preparing he leaves a trail of chaos including an escaped baby panda heading for the lion s den Thank goodness Mr Peek s son Jimmy but still good illustrations English Age Preschool KindergartenI m not so sure about the random animal parade but the general story is a fun one Mr Peek is so concerned about opening for the zoo to celebrate the new baby panda that he s not focusing on his everyday tasks He polished the turtles shells with show polish he leaves the penguin gate open and he turns temperature of the polar bear enclosure up and not down Luckily his trusty kid sidekick is there to fix this adult s mistakes Digital illustrations that replicate cut paper accompany this zoo tale English Mr Peek the zookeeper at Peek Zoo is very excited about the new baby panda bear So excited that he wants to have a special day to celebrate But since Mr Peek is too preoccupied with the animal parade and the fun and excitement of the celebration he doesn t really pay attention to what he is doing And of course that creates quite the pandemonium not all in part due to the cute baby panda Thankfully the zookeeper has a great helper his son Jimmy Jimmy is able to keep his head and complete all of his and his father s chores correctly And that is just what is needed since the zoo is due to be open any moment. Panda-monium at Peek Zoo epublishing This is a fun story with some great characters that first appeared in Mr Peek and the Misunderstanding at the Zoo Children will enjoy seeing how Mr Peek is so preoccupied that he doesn t do all of his jobs correctly And he mistakes the baby panda for one of the penguins In fact so many things are going on that the kiddos will really have to pay attention to see what is really going to happen thanks to all of Mr Peek s work But those youngsters who like seeing a child being helpful and all together saving the day will enjoy this new story at the Peek Zoo English
