The Mask of Vengeance is a story about a British Naval Lieutenant James Lockworth who stumbles across a woman whom he falls in love with Lisa Tyler The story is a gritty passionate one that brings severe hardship upon James as he battles pirates the crown and himself in his quest to find his true love 144 pages The Mask of VengeanceFollow the story of James Lockwood as he goes from a Naval Lieutenant hunting pirates to becoming hunted himself His fortunes seem to be linked to a woman engaged to another man I found this to be a well told tale with a few minor irritations Some of the characters seem to disappear with no explanation and Jack Skinner although being a pirate kept up the ooo arring which became irritating This was a realistic pirate tale than many will have come to expect thanks to various films The Mask of Vengeance
