Loved it Texas prairie style mixed with Shabby Chic A wonderful view of Rachel s BB in Roundtop Texas English This is a really sweet book If you like the shabby chic look then this is the book for you English This book had a very specific design style Not my style but I could appreciate the author s dedication to her own English Loved this book loved this style Beautiful inspiring photographs English Laugh out loaud funny for me I read at one lunch and was taken with the smug pompous diction of the author Do you know she painted the walls in her signature white English Meh A bit of a disappointment Rachel Ashwell s style concept is wonderful but applied in rather rote and repetitive fashion distressed furniture and voluptuous duvets and other linens draped over a series of flea market pieces Looks neither functional nor authentic beautiful photographs of lots of enviable pieces from dishes and vases to big overstuffed duvets and ruffly pillows to sparkly chandeliers and loads of loads of floppy pastel roses The Texas flair is interesting not sure it s my favorite incarnation of her esthetic but I can t deny that it s gorgeous Definitely lots of inspiration to be found here regardless I d happily visit The Prairie and stay in any of the rooms pictured any time English I like seeing how Rachel Ashwell uses her flea market finds to decorate with her signature style English
