Forever Altered books I m a fan of the trilogy books but this book gave me an overwhelming feeling from the characters to the story I think DJP did a really nice job I enjoyed the story and would definitely keep my eye out for future books It doesn t hurt that she s a fellow Phillies fan 266 This is a wonderful stand alone that is written from the POV of both main characters Rocco Matthews is the perfect book boyfriend complete with dark hair and blue eyes He even drives a sexy fast cat The plot is well paced and emotion packed Fingers crossed for a spinoff based some of the other characters 266 Fluttery That s one word I would use to describe how this book impacted me This novel reminded me a lot of Beautiful Disaster by Jamie McGuire It had the same kind of feel just a different plot The plot is a little typical but what separates each romance book from another is the feels one can perceive from the story I really felt that this was a great story It was thoroughly developed so that at the end one would feel complete with the ending One thing I thoroughly enjoyed about this book was the fact that it was very well written The writing style was great I noticed a lot of embellishment that were used to make the writing interesting The characters were very well developed I noticed lots of characterization and development As a result it was very easy to connect to the characters all the time However one thing I disliked was the point of view change from Alyssa to Rocco and back and forth I enjoyed it the way it was but I felt the novel would have been stronger if it was in Alyssa s point of view alone There would have been an even deeper connection with her as an character However having both perspectives was nice as well One thing I did notice about this book was the level of cheesiness Sometimes it would be too cheesy and my heart just couldn t handle the cuteness The author does a very good job of connecting the readers However at times the cheesiness can get too much.
