Secrets and sistahs Toy Davis Secrets and Sins I really enjoyed each and every short story in this collection I don t have much time to read at the moment and because of that I haven t been able to start a full length novel This collection was perfect for me as I could dip into it whenever I had a free half hour or so What I liked the most was the variety of tales and even the shortest story had its own voice Toy Davis is now on my favourite authors list and I have already downloaded The Last Resortto read once I have a break in my schedule. Secrets and sinsploit I will definitely say that although I had trouble with the endings of some of the stories it was very apparent that this author is a good writer The stories themselves sucked me in each time and the descriptiveness of each and every story was very good They made me want to know right away what was going to happen to the characters And in this case I would assume not easy to do because the settings and people that the author wrote about widely varied I was very impressed with the ability to immediately immerse the reader into each setting and character s point of view for each story As I said although I personally struggled with parts of the book it may not be the same for another reader They may be perfect stories and endings for another reader and there is no denying that this is a good writer.
