Book Three Little shrimp scampi shrimp can be than just food profit or allergens Walking in the imagination of these creatures can be a shark tale in itself 32 I really enjoy finding a picture book that looks at things a bit differently In J Steven Spires Three Little Shrimp we get to troll through the mud for worms get lost in grass and dive into holes in a riverbed When was the last time you got to do any of those things Three Little Shrimp follows you ll never guess three little shrimp as they stray from the safety of their troop Did you know that s what a group of shrimp is called Me neither Without even knowing it the shrimp are in constant danger but through sheer luck and impeccable timing they continually avoid catastrophe With a bit of local vernacular and a humorous lines from the shrimp this is a fun book to read aloud and would be a great book for classroom story time A special mention about the illustrations which are just fabulous and created by seventeen year old artist Jonathan Caron Using a lovely palette of colors the illustrator has drawn very realistic renditions of sea life with a wonderful way of depicting scenes under the water I look forward to seeing from this fabulous artist in the future. Three Little Shrimp pdf reader I recieved a copy of this book through a Goodreads First Reads giveaway A special thanks to the author for providing a signed copy and activity book 32 I received this book as a giveaway I have to say when I saw it was about shrimp I was thinking Really Shrimp For a kid s book But this is a great book I loved the story and the artwork I think it was so well done The three little shrimp were absolutely adorable The coloring book is a great addition very educational and fun This book I m hanging onto until I have kids to read it to 32 I received this book from Goodreads First Reads I read Three Little Shrimp to my 4 and 5 year old grandkids tonight for their bed time story and they LOVED it They got to learn all about sea creatures and plants and the illustrations were great The length of the book was perfect not too long and held their attention for the entire reading The activity and coloring book was an added bonus only problem is I wish I had 2 of them because they are fighting over it lol Three Little Shrimp is sure to become a bedtime favorite in our household and will be well loved Thank you to the author for sending it to me and what a nice surprise to find that you had signed my copy 32
