For the love of cupcakes kindle unlimited This book was sweet filled with great characters and an amazing support group for Priya to help her make her dream come true Helen was quite the Cruella DeVille of this story she had some real issues for sure I loved the recipes for the cupcakes so this book would be a yummy read for the foodie in all of us really who does not love cupcakes For The Love of Cupcakes Gthe book is a great way to keep you interested by reading a out how this woman starts her own business and the jealousy of her competition For The Love of Cupcakes I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. For the love of cupcakespot reviews What a cute read I loved the style Kushwaha wrote in fast breezy yet personal Watching Priya come up with her cupcake recipes was fun to watch and following her on her journey of finding her backbone and entrepreneurial spirit was fabulous This was a spot on chick lit book and I hope other fans of the genre enjoy it as much as me There were just a few issues that made me not rate it five stars One was that I didn t quite understand how Priya s ex boss could get away with stealing her recipes when they were so unique to Priya s store and her vision and Helen s had never been that way It seemed really obvious to me yet apparently no one in the community could get it Another is so small but I actually have experience with this so it stuck out to me Priya teams up with Victoria Secret to help with her marketing and big chain stores like that would never typically do what they did I wished she would have used a fictitious store instead because it distracted me Those are two smaller critiques I have and I really did enjoy the book from beginning to end For The Love of Cupcakes The beginning of the story draws us in feeling a bit sorry for Priya a young baking assistant who happens to work for a self centered boss that would prefer to run errands and avoid issues than actually bake something At first I worried that Pirya did not have the guts to stand up for herself as she takes degrading orders to finish dishes and clean toilets instead of baking I was pleased to see that not only does Priya put her boss Helen in her place she quits working for the she devil and starts her own cupcakery instead Priya uses her personal recipes that deliver not only sweet cupcakes but savory ones as well and incorporates Indian spices to make them unique to the traditional cupcake Pair that up with one of her homemade teas and vuala a perfect afternoon treat The story unfolds giving way to the journey of starting a business and for awhile it sounded a bit too good to be true Don t get me wrong I love a good fairytale or feel good read but I wanted to see how this could work without any hiccups along the way It was as if Ms Kushwaha had read my mind as soon as things really started to fall into place for Priya BOOM she gets slammed with some pretty disheartening situations Priya feels the need to prove herself once again not only to conniving people from her past but now to those she cares about most in the world like her husband Arj and best friend Mae Throw a baking contest with her ex boss into the mix and we have plenty of sour added to her sweet world of cupcakery goodness Throughout the story we see a test of friendship trust issues with employees and the dedication of a husband who is willing to do almost anything to see his wife follow through with her dreams We aren t just given a sweet tooth when reading this book we are blessed with a tale of one woman s journey about making it happen We all have that dream to chase in our lives and it was wonderful to watch Priya make her dream come true I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and cannot wait to see what Ms Kushwaha has in store for us in the future P.
