W Mattox I loved this book If you are looking for a book that gives a pretty in depth overview of the history of the church that starts at its establishment in Acts 2 and continues until the 1950 s when this book was published then look no further Although the book deals with a lot of tedious content like numerous councils and synods the history of the Catholic church and the Reformation the chapters are broken up in a way that makes the flow of the book enjoyable I found the author to be knowledgeable yet with the ability to write in a way that kept my attention throughout the book I would recommend this book to anyone F:
