The reader is left to wonder just how well researched or well substantiated the following claims are or to wonder if the following claims are mere figments of the writers imaginations Zen Buddhism has very few practictioners in the West and nearly none in Singapore Soka Gakkai attracts Chinese from the lower lower middle class in SingaporeAnother example is the un named scholar who supposedly exclaims after a month in Singapore The people in Singapore are so immature in their fashion as in attire There is no mention of the publication in which the afore mentioned scholar remarks thus the reader is left to wonder.

With no references or footnote that I can see in the copy of the book that I read does this scholar in question even exist The above notwithstanding I found sufficient novelty in the subject matter hence I gave three stars in my rating of this book and not any fewer ebook
