I found this book to be a page turner It is well written I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys chick lit with a few twists The Fosters Wowit s almost impossible to describe just how much I enjoyed this fictional novel by talented Author C Alease I can only say thisit is wonderful news to learn that this is only Volume I and there is to follow I do not want to miss a word of this intriguing story The Fosters grabbed me from the first page right to the last and left me wanting Chris Collins is the protagonist in this heart wrenching story and she writes in the first person She shares the events taking place at the Haven of Hope Adoption Facility.

In this first novel of the series Chris Collins Till Stewart Maynard Hill Alfred Beucey and the twins Beryl and Cheryl Ricks along with Roberta Henson are members of the makeshift family of children created by Roberta known as The Fosters Chris Collins and Till Stewart refused to let go of the hope they kept hidden as children for a better future When Chris reconnects with Till during college after graduation they partner to form an extremely successful and award winning magazine Still struggling to find fulfillment in her life along with the desire to write a book on their experiences Chris allows her curiosity to discover what became of the family to consume her She decides to take a couple of years off from the magazine to write about her friends at the Haven of Hope Adoption Facility What she discovers about their lives and her own will be than her curiosity could ever have imagined The FostersThis was an interesting book better know as the Facility to the orphaned children who reside there Each child has his her own set of circumstances and unfortunate reasons for arriving at this common ground when their lives become intricately entwined with one another to create a loving and lovable pseudo family. The fosters aj and callie Roberta is the oldest of the little clan that the children refer to as The Fosters She is considered to be their child mother as she embraces some of the younger ones and protectively tends to their needs No child is allowed into this makeshift family without the approval and consent of Roberta Chris in her role as the narrator of this captivating novel recalls how she is quickly embraced as part of this intimate little group along with Maynard Alfred and twin sisters Cheryl and Beryl Till who arrives shortly thereafter is immediately adopted by Roberta and at least for now the Foster family is complete Of course it is impossible to stay this way as some of the children are eventually accepted into other homes or run away on their own. The Fosters kindle unlimited Eventually Chris and Till manage to meet up again at college and renew their friendship The combination of their efforts drive and education take them on the road to unexpected success They eventually start a business together a magazine by the name of BE With this advantage Chris decides to fulfill her dream of writing a true story about the lives of her Foster family and the days they spent together at the Facility If the walls could talk pretty well describes what this book entails Both sad and heartwarming at the same time Chris goes about her endeavor to rediscover what happened to her friends and how their lives have unfolded. The fosters alex saxon Trust meyou won t want to put this book down once you start reading it and meet the varying cast of characters The goodthe badand the offer of hope for some and none for others as Roberta so honestly dubs the FacilityHaven of Hope or from her angle Have No Hope I can t wait to read Volume II in this well written and unpredictable saga What a cliff hangerInspirational Author Book Reviewer Dolores Ayotte The Fosters When I started reading The Fosters I wasn t sure what to expect The story started in a facility called Haven Of Hope which was an orphanage for unwanted kids at least how they pictured it Roberta was able to take the lettering of the facility calling it Have No Hope Somehow regardless of their differences a chosen few became like family But with every good thing separation happens and learn to fend for themselves Eventually Chrissy was placed in a home leaving Till behind and years later reunite in their college years Can twins really be apart Beryl left the orphanage to a home without her sister Cheryl Although Beryl wrote her sister a letter of her happiness Cheryl had a bitterness lingering in her heart and decided to end that pain in an unsettling manner. The fosters age rating Chrissy Chris Collins after two years of helping launch and making Till magazine become a success as they agreed it was time for Chris to step out and pursue her dream as well But had no idea what emotional roller coaster would resurface to write such a book about the Facility Alfred had some things that he had to bury and quite contrary we see the transformation he had to make which best suited him He also shares his story for the book that Chris Collins is writing and hopefully will share with the world Unbelievably Till and Alfred had one thing in common Even after the speculations you will see how these two openly share their hidden secret when they were once in the Facility Alfred later Cleo tells it all and sat there with my mouth agape Roberta the one who held the family together while in the Facility had a turn for the worse Hopefully she will find resolution I would highly recommend this for Young Adult to read those who experienced separation or parting from families to new families and even moves into college years New Adult Adults can see this as a learning tool especially since I used to work as a Big Sister Amachi program mentor tutor for disadvantage children and also as a Youth Development Specialist with at risk youth.
