Looking for possible gifts to give a friend for their baby shower not really applicable from this book but I saw SO MANY awesome projects I d love to try I got it as a library book but will definitely be buying Love all of the clear detailed directions and photos and I enjoyed the fact that these were sophisticated projects not just cheap looking handmade gifts to make with felt and hot glue Hannah Moore The title implies maybe 20 projects to give as gifts usually only a few techniques This book however is along the lines of Martha Stewart s and Michael s General crafts book Compared with that his is the best book of it s type that I ve ever read Each of the many sections in the book has a new technique used for a projects The instructions are superb and each step is illustrated with a photo Following that project are several variations and ideas with general instructions The variations are often very different For example the container candle project is a poured candle in a teacup The additional ideas are travel candles layered candles ramekin candles and a large 3 wick candle.
