Darkness on the edge of town short stories book Hungry Heart I really liked Gil and was excited for him to find someone to be with I hated him being the only one of the threesome not in a relationship He was a stand up guy who deserved to find someone who really cared about him And for the longest time I didn t like Brian but they were finally able to make it work and he really grew on me I felt like they said I Love You way to early and it just seemed forced a little bit because of that But it all worked out in the end ebook All sex no story not for me ebook I don t know how to rate and review this book Three stories in one book and the first was 3 stars and the second and third stories were 2 star ratings The whole book was rushed through and the characters interaction felt shallow the sex scenes were too quick In story 2 and 3 the MC s met so I m not so disappointed I gave it 3 stars but it was of a 25 stars ebook I knew this book will have lots of sex coming in but I was still surprised that plot barely supported all the sex Nonetheless I liked Nick and William s story and Gil and Brian s Can t say I bough Sam and Bobby s though Going into D s relationship without any preliminary discussions of what to expect without establishing safe words or setting any hard soft limits sounds unbelievable to me Sam was not fully on board with the proceedings of the first scene and suddenly he takes to pain toys and restraining like a duck to the water The other stories were way credible even with the serial slasher on the loose No explanations as to why the killer was first targeting girls and suddenly moved on to guys no satisfactory explanation on how and where the perp was caught I think that cutting off some sex scenes and adding plot would have greatly benefited all of the stories They all feel underwritten though the writing itself and ideas were not bad ebook Overall I gave this a 3 star rating but because of how much I really liked the first story it s probably like 3. Darkness on the edge of town 2014 Story 3 was better than 2 but not by much Nick William totally win best couple in my opinion on this go round Sam Bobbie just didn t seem connected to me and Gil Billie well they were like a couple of rabbits little f k bunny rabbits Seriously Gil may have been having a dry spell after ending his 8 year relationships a few months earlier but once Billie showed up it was pretty much wham bam wham bam and did I mention wham bam oh yeah there were a couple of thank yous in there too Suffice it to say that Gil Billie had an intense physical relationship Yet somehow I have to admit the author did weave in an interesting story I just would have liked it filled out with than yet again another naked romp through Gil s house You know that the sex scenes aren t working for you when you start skimming them and your brain is going alright already we get it their horny.
