But I hope there is a continuation as there are a number of great characters I would like to know about 224 3 STARS I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Vampire thirst skyrim Necromancer Kimber now lives with her lover Duncan in a compound where vampires and humans co exist As the two start to get closer Kimber discovers she is pregnant but keeps it from Duncan as she is not sure if her pregnancy is driven by evil Duncan is aware of Kimber s distancing and is not sure what she is hiding but it could endanger them all. Vampire's Thirst pdf drive After I read the first book I was unsure if I wanted to continue the series as I was not really relating to the world created by Garner in her new series Awakening While I enjoy her writing the plot itself did not really engage me I think I will stop reading at this book and wait for a new series by Garner 224 Another great installment to the series This one is even action filled and sexier than the first Not much time has passed between the first book and this one Duncan is trying to make the compound even safer for the humans While Kimber is still working on a way to try and stop the zombies Kimber is definitely very moody in this one She s battling the unseen that s inside her and finding out that she s pregnant She doesn t want to raise a child in this environment and knows that she has to find a way to stop it Duncan is wanting to protect Kimber but knows that she has to delve into her necromantic powers to try and stop the apocalypse Even if it is a risk to himself This one is a whole lot steamier than the first Amongst all the zombies and vampires they still are all over each other They have amazing chemistry and I love them as a couple. Just not one I particularly like I loved the danger and the connection between Kimber and Duncan The book had a great way of placing you so firmly in Kimber s mind I couldn t help but feel her part in the story It s a great tale that I think did a lot of things right and am interested to learn about Kimber and Duncan both past and the next book. Thirst vampire book series I love Vampire and Zombie books so I loved this book The storyline was so interesting I couldn t put this book down I loved the romance between Duncan and Kimber Duncan and Atticus are my favorite characters from the book I was hoping Natalie would end up with Atticus at the end I would love a book about Atticus This was a great book and I definitely recommend it 224 
Notes I received an eARC loan from the publisher My Synopsis The zombie apocalypse is going strong Duncan is adjusting to his new role as Vampire King and is trying to keep moral up while attempting to keep the peace between the humans and vampires Humans are volunteering to become blood donors for vampires in exchange for protection They re also becoming restless and resent being cooped up and unable to get out While their confinement is for their own protection.

Forever I really liked the first book Hunger but I m not sure that this story lived up to expectations I won t ruin the end of this story but things felt a little wrapped up too easily for this reader I really liked the idea of a human necromancer banding together with a vampire to fight zombies and the addition of sexy Fae only added to the mix What let it down was a lack of growth for these characters It took me a while to like Kimber initially but her fearlessness and loyalty won me over but at times I just failed to believe in her feelings for Duncan There s lots of hot sex between Duncan and Kimber but I like a book that s strongly plot driven and this just didn t deliver on its promise. Thirst vampire novel As I mentioned I m not completely sold on the way this book ended but there s clearly room for to come from these characters I really liked the world building and would like to know a lot The Fae have hardly been explored and what we did see of them felt quite rushed The vampires are very interesting and I d certainly like to spend time with them and learn their back stories So in conclusion I really enjoyed spending time with these characters but the story felt a little too short but then I always want It s very well written with a unique take on zombies and their possible origins Such a sexy read and I loved the passionate Duncan Is there to come I d like to hope so as Kimber and Duncan are not quite out of the woods yet and I d love to see how their future pans out Oh and it would be a crime not to mention that gorgeous cover.

Vampire s Thirst picks up fairly shortly after Vampire s Hunger left off I enjoyed this one as much as the first book I would advise reading this series in order as you will miss some back story as to how the zombie apocalypse came about In this one Kimber tries to come up with a way to stop the nightmare that has taken over the world I won t tell you if she and her friends succeed My biggest observation about the book is that I thought it really could have been combined with the fist one Not a ton happens in the story other than love scenes So had the first book been expanded it really could have been one longer book and not stretched into two I would have liked to see Natalie s love life explored I m not sure if there is going to be a next book in the series I did find it a little too assuming in some places and think adding an indicator that it is a book 2 in a series would help a lot for readers. Vampire thirst trap While the title of the book rubbed me the wrong way the story itself was amazing I hate on the nose title s and this felt that way to me However the story was so beautifully done The world building alone was an immense task and sucked me into the devastating world though it took some effort which may have been to me jumping in book 2 I found the plot was a little comical at times but that has been a trend in Urban Fantasy it does get a bit monotonous but when even the smallest runs to get supplies times than not ends in someone dying it can t be helped While tensions are running high Kimber feels responsible for the apocalypse and keeps trying to figure out what caused it so she can reverse it One thing appears clear the darkness that escaped during a reanimation gone wrong has to be pushed back into the Unseen In order to do that she needs to experiment on zombies Afraid to confide in Duncan her theory of how to reverse the situation their relationship will be put to the test If a reversal of what happened can t be accomplished the whole world will be doomed While it sounds simple cure the zombies save the world it s anything but and Kimber will put her life on the line. Vampire thirst trap My Review Another entertaining read by Ms Garner Vampire s Thirst picks up shortly after Vampire s Hunger left off If you haven t read Vampire s Hunger I recommend you do It s a quick read and will make the reading of this book enjoyable. Book Vampire's thirsty lion Things look bleak as the number of humans decreases as the number of zombies increases As supplies begin to grow short alternative methods of gaining food are explored Safety is the priority and everything done takes careful planning Meanwhile Duncan s human donor plan is starting to gain the attention of other vampire leaders Willing donors are a novelty and while vampires seem to enjoy and benefit from it humans are only agreeing because the alternative almost surely would lead to death by zombie. Vampire thirst mod I like the stress and tension everything brings to the oh so new relationship between Duncan and Kimber Insecurities and misunderstandings develop between the two as obligations and loyalties pull them apart and make them see how different their lives are As with any good relationship it takes work commitment and communication I like that Ms Garner didn t make things super easy on this couple. Vampire's thirsth hai Overall I really liked the story and gave it 3 1 2 out of 5 roses There was one discrepancy I found between the first book and this one In the first book it was stated vampires couldn t become zombies They just suffered horrible pain In this book it was said they d become a sort of super zombie retaining all their vampire speed and strength It didn t affect the outcome of this book but I m curious about any future books Of course as I was reading an ARC the author may have righted this error before the book goes to print I ll be curious to see if she does If not I supposed in the third book she could claim at first they thought they couldn t be turned until they found out differently On the Lisarenee Romance Rating Scale this one earned a SHOWER rating a cold shower is necessary need I say Some books should come with a warning make sure your significant other is handy or your shower is in working order lol As with the first book in the series Vampire s Hunger I felt the love scenes combined with the colorful language used had this one leaning toward an erotic read but poised precariously on the fence 224 Review courtesy of All Things Urban Fantasy The second in The Awakening series VAMPIRE S THIRST follows immediately after VAMPIRE S HUNGER and I was excited to see what Kimber and Duncan were going to do next Turns out it was have a bunch of sex and fight A bit on the erotic side than most books we review here on All Things Urban Fantasy VAMPIRE S THIRST could have been so great but unfortunately it fell flat for me with characters behaving in a nonsensical manner in the middle of a zombie apocalypse nearly a complete lack of world building and a mish mash of tangents that were annoying from the main plot. Vampire thirst sims 4 From the fenced in road the vampires want to build from Cleveland to Akron to the humans who lived in the compound safely but wanted to be able to go out to the park to exercise did they forget the world was overrun by zombies VAMPIRE S THIRST was frequently just so ridiculous that I wanted to laugh hysterically which I m guessing is not what the author was going for Most of the time the ridiculous parts were also distractions from the main plot line which was I think the necromancers plan to kill all the zombies magically That part was the most interesting and had it gotten page time I think the whole book could have been a lot better. Vampire's thirst epub download Since the plot of VAMPIRE S HUNGER started nearly immediately after Kimber precipitated the zombie apocalypse we didn t get much of a chance to see the world that Garner had come up with There was not much said about the existence of the vampires the fae or the necromancers and how they interacted with humans This was frustrating to say the least and it continued in VAMPIRE S THIRST Instead I felt that Garner used the supernatural elements as a way of writing herself out of a corner with little to no explanation for them. Vampire's thirstea Whereas VAMPIRE S HUNGER had a cohesive plot along with some hot sexual tension and chemistry between Duncan and Kimber though it was light on the world building as well VAMPIRE S THIRST veered so far away from that formula that unless you were looking for even passionate sex scenes to say it mildly you d likely be disappointed I will say that at the very least it was action packed and the writing was good but that isn t enough to keep me coming back to the series if there s a book three.
