Book Death's redemption book Mila is the last true Seer alive Gifted with the power of visions that could alter the life of all mankind She realises that she s been exposed and goes on the run but is tracked down by vampires who infect her with their venom Mila begs the stranger who saves her for true death but Frenzy refuses and worse he takes her away claiming that he will protect her Mila cannot allow herself to be taken prisoner and struggles to convince him that she truly would be better off dead but Frenzy is just as stubborn as Mila There s just something about her that calls to him but is it just attraction or is it than that Has fate brought these two people together There s a darkness stalking Mila and she will have to trust Frenzy implicitly if she hopes to save the world This book is the second in this series and follows on from Deaths Lover but features characters that for this reader just lit up the page I absolutely adored Frenzy and what a name He is such an angry cold character when we first meet him and yet the author cleverly gives us an insight into his true personality when he protects a lone wolf He is a hard male but he s not a heartless one As for Mila well she is such a brave character and prepared to risk everything for the sake of good She s one of those who the reader really gets behind and the chemistry between these two characters is fiery This is another great book from Ms Hall.

But there s a lot of mystery and it s all bound up in Lise for me She s one of the fates and she s constantly interfering She s got an agenda and I m not 100% sure I understand it I don t think I m supposed to yet but I m so curious to understand what this chic has up her sleeve First she meddled with Eve and Cian Now Mila and Frenzy What s next The plot for Death s Redemption is all bound up in Mila and her powers as a seer She s one of the last remaining seer s in the world and everyone EVERYTHING powerful wants to control her She s hunted most worryingly by the Shadow I loved the story behind the shadow and everything surrounding it Terrific evil and lots of twists to go with that element I loved the glimpses we got of the fae world and only wish there were of that too Concluding Sentiments Although I had some issues with the characters to begin with.

DNF 26% I can t stand this chick s superior attitude Kinda sick of hearing her talk shit English I like going into a book expecting one thing and the author writing and story give me pleasant surprises For some reason I thought this was going to be a fluffy story hot sex thrown in to add some spice in between the suspense But what I got was a well written story line fleshed out characters plus mystery and suspense The story centers around a grim reaper part of the dark Fae and a human woman who can see the future You ll love how strong Mila is even the hero commented multiple times how she was not letting anything keep her down The hero Frenzy was dealing with his own demons hating his life and how he worked for the dark Fae queen and he also did not want to help a lowly human I enjoyed the author s additions to Fae mythology and even if you aren t familiar with this type of paranormal genre you won t be lost because most of the story remains in the human realm English After taking the bad guys of fairy tales Hook Big Bad Wolf the Mad Hatter and making them heroes is it any surprise that Marie Hall would take on the idea of making the Grim Reaper a hero Not really Mila is working in San Francisco with a task force that runs her amok with a vicious group of vampires Part of the problem is Mila s special talents She is able to see the future But this talent needs to remain a secret or she will be hunted When her secret leaks a group of rogue vampires want her bad Her talent is something that they will kill to possess When all hope seems lost Mila stumbles upon Frenzy a grim reaper with a depressing past and everything changes for them both Instead of being willing to call it quits Frenzy is now willing to fight for Mila even if it means fighting against her.
