principal siempre vemos c mo los protagonistas se esconden en los refugios y dejan que los guardias defiendan en castillo Mientras que aqu en El Guardi n s que vemos c mo reaccionan a los ataques de los rebeldes a la muerte al peligro y al haber perdido a America en los bosques Oh Esa escena por cierto me parti el coraz n porque a pesar de que est narrada a trav s de los ojos de Aspen vemos lo mucho que sufre Maxon al no poder ir tras ella a los bosques mientras es arrastrado de vuelta al castillo con su padre Pobrecillo m o Young Adult 3 Time was the ONLY thing s Any girl who would risk her life for someone she loves certainly deserves to be called a lady Accepting help is its own kind of strength Buddy read with my girl Desire The Guard novella was Well it was just an okay read I guess I get a bit bored when novella s repeat parts from previous books And if I m being honest Aspen s POV really didn t add that much to the story which is sad because I was looking most forward to his I guess I was looking for something and sadly this just didn t deliver On the other hand this was a very quick and easy read And though I distaste repeated scenes scenes from book 2 it was still nice getting a look into his thoughts and feelings and his desires Aspens POV gives us insight into King Clarkson s nature motivations manipulative ways and his cruelty It was also nice getting to see the relationship s form between him and America s maids Anne Mary and Lucy and the respect they have for him and the love they have for America It was nice seeing Aspen s camaraderie with the other guards especially with Avery and Tanner Also I enjoyed the couple scenes between Aspen and the old man who works in the stables The old man gives some pretty good advice too My rating for this book has nothing to do with my liking or not liking Aspen It s solely based on the content and the entertainment factor which was very low in my opinion And For the record I have always loved Aspen ever since the first book Not necessarily with America but because his dedication to America remains steadfast throughout EVERYTHING and he s caring sweet and all around a wonderful person Moving on to The Favorite Illustration of Aspen What I picture he d look like I stored up every moment like it was a physical thing I d thumb through memories whenever things were still I spent time with her than she ever knew I pushed my lips to hers locking her to me with a hand knotted into her hair Stupid So so stupid But right in a thousand ways It felt like an eternity had passed since we d kissed this deeply but we fell into it so easily You re the only thing I ve ever wanted to fight for Young Adult Team Aspen i really like him he s a good guy Smart brave charm after THE ONE this novel is just
