Books like this always have to hit me at exactly the right moment Any time outside that sweet spot and I d probably rate a story like this closer to 3 stars On the other hand this is the second story by this author I ve read and the second I ve rated highly So maybe the author and I are just lucky as to when I try her stories. A calling to thrall book review I suppose I should actually say but Hmm I was vaguely annoyed when the story flipped from Thrall to a man and woman on a jetski in the US but then I got distracted by the bikini top being removed and well Let s just go back to this hitting at the correct time and in correct way English This book was hard for me to rate because of the subject matter The author does a masterful job of describing the predicament the kidnapped girl goes through on her way to becoming a slave I could have cried as I felt her pain and I generally like the fantasy of being kidnapped So the writing gets an A from me and the horror of the abduction is so disturbing that it gets an F I want to be fair to the author This short story is very well done although it ends abruptly Just know that you are not getting into an erotic read but rather a dark disturbing read and you will be fine.
