Trapping readers in an ongoing race to the finish RT Book Reviews rated 4 1 2 stars Miniseries The Delancey Dynasty 288 It was really good until the end The ending seemed rushed and I thought it would have a little angst maybe 288 Received 4 1 2 stars RT Book ReviewsMiniseries The Delancey Dynasty 288 Marcie and Joseph Power s son Joshua was kidnapped two years ago and the trauma has changed their lives and their marriage Joe feels tremendous guilt over the kidnapping and he has tried his best to go on living Marcie saw her son in every baby she passed and has contacted the police numerous times with false leads She comes back to Joe with what she thinks is a promising lead.

Gone dark

And their impatience at not getting results This was a very powerful story packed into a short book It was very realistic in showing how Marcie and Joe felt and how the kidnapping was ripping them apart As much as I liked the story I didn t like the ending I felt Marcie brushed her actions words toward Joe under the rug and expected everything to be back to normal and I felt Joe forgave Marcie too quickly without considering that Marcie blamed him for everything and didn t even give the guy one moments consideration over his loss and suffering 288 This book was very quick and easy to read I finished it in half of a school day I don t think I would like it enough to read the rest of the series.

He kept having to fight the stinging in his eyes tonight 288 I was disappointed in the relationship between this husband and wife They were estranged and this crisis drew them together The wife goes back and forth yelling at her husband to go away then says she loves him I found this part of the story tiring The rest was good 288 This book was actually a rating of 3. Fantasy general walkthrough 5 stars The premise was okay but the story had a tendency to drag a little Marcie struck me as a two dimensional character that only thought about her wants and nobody else s needs She was selfish and needed an attitude adjustment She enjoyed making Joe feel guilty so that she could manipulate him into doing just about anything to find their missing son I really didn t like her at all but I could relate to Joe 288 Very good book There was a lot going on in a short period of time that kept me reading so I could find out what was going to happen next Joe and Marcie s son had been stolen two years earlier Joe blamed himself since the baby had been with him at the time Over those two years Marcie had never stopped looking.

Gone aze

Even if he was her last resort I loved seeing the difference in the way she treated this sighting and how relatively calm she was in describing the details to Joe I liked the way that she allowed herself to be guided by him in dealing with the ransom demands Being near Joe again reminded her that she still loved him but she felt that he wouldn t be interested in getting back together after all the terrible things she said to him Working together brought them closer again and she began to hope that they might have a future together again It was painful to see her backslide in her attitude near the end.

Gone again vintage

Josh s kidnappers decide to use it to get a lot of money from Joe Joe s pride doesn t allow him to ask for help from them so he sets up his own plan I really loved the way that Joe worked so hard to come up with a workable plan and then find a way to protect Marcie without her knowing about it His feelings for Marcie had never changed but he was sure that she still hasn t forgiven him for losing Josh to start with His pain at the end when he thinks he has lost Marcie for good is overwhelming and his joy when he learns differently is fantastic. Gone book I loved Ethan s appearance and how he became an important part of the story I loved that he accepted that Joe is part of his family without any problem He also trusted his cop instincts when he sensed that something was going on with Joe s missing son It was great to see him take steps on his own that ended up saving the day The only thing I would have liked better would have been an epilogue with Joe and family meeting the rest of the Delanceys 288 Oh.

Kane taps into every parent s biggest fear and uses it to escalate the terror with every page turned she believes she has actually sighted her son Joe decides to check on her lead even though he thinks its another one of Marcie s hysterical attempts However this time Marcie may be right Joe finds it to be a promising lead but his own recent discovery that he s Con Delancey s son causes his son to be kidnapped for ransom Marcie and Joe fight to get their son back. Gone book series Joe on the other hand kept too many emotions to himself He was very stoic Even then Marcie bothered me 288 Gone (The Delancey Dynasty, #9)Bestselling romance author Mallory Kane has published over 40 romantic suspense titles between Harlequin Intrigue and Tule Publishing Group and she has multiple independent projects spanning genres Mallory loves romantic suspense with dangerous heroes and dauntless heroines and she enjoys tossing in a bit of her medical knowledge for an extra dose of intrigue Mallory taught herself to read at age three starting a lifelong love affair with books Her mother a librarian loved and respected books and taught Mallory that they were a precious resource Her father was a brilliant storyteller His oral histories are chronicled in such places as the Veterans History Project at the Library of Congress He was always her biggest fan. Gene pdf download I mostly like Marcie Her actions after Josh was kidnapped were expected and the stress it put on their marriage is not unusual I was glad to see that she was still able to go to Joe when she needed help but really moving when she had the courage to lay out her feelings to him. Gone aze Joe has had a terrible time dealing with his guilty feelings and what he sees as his desertion of Marcie He had only left her because he felt that having him around only reminded her of his guilt He gave up his good job as a lawyer and went to work for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children as a way to deal with those feelings When Marcie showed up at his apartment with yet another story of a sighting he wasn t inclined to believe her at first He tries to get her to give up and move on but finally agrees to investigate When he does he is amazed to discover that this time Marcie seems to be right At the same time Joe finds out that his father had been the head of the Delancey family who his mother had had a long affair with When this information hits the news boy Where do I start with this one First I have to get off my chest how much I hated the main character Marcie Powers She was a f ing bitch Excuse my language but I need to impress just how truly awful and horrible this woman is She asks estranged hubby Joe for his help but then proceeds to constantly get pissy at him over EVERY SINGLE THING he does She blames him for letting their child get stolen Marcie honey no parent lets their child get stolen That blame should go squarely on the sociopath who does the child stealing Not the poor guilt ridden parent you horrid sniveling selfish waste of space Gosh she really got me fired up If she s not reminding Joe that he lost their child or that she hates him she s randomly bringing up all the times in the past he s failed her as a husband She keeps this snotty attitude up all the way until the end Just pages before they re apparently living happily ever after she s telling him she hates him and it s all his fault I absolutely detested her I didn t want these two to have a happily ever after I was hoping Joe would sue for custody of little Joshua so he wasn t raised by a self absorbed psycho What sort of future would these two have How long would it be before Marcie was flying off the handle and telling Joe she hated him because he burnt the steaks Joe was a solid hero I felt bad for him that he would be spending the rest of his life tied to a hot mess like Marcie He had a firm grip on the idiot ball however Despite knowing that Marcie doesn t like him keeping information from her he keeps on doing it Even when that information is on the front page of the freaking newspaper The book had a pattern Joe would get an idea He wouldn t tell Marcie Marcie would get pissed at him when she found out the truth and tell him how much she hated him and how everything was his fault There are two loooong seemingly neverending chapters at the house on stilts while Marcie waits to hear from the abductor The author trots out the old mother lion protecting her cub cliche Joe grabs Marcie from behind at one point for no other reason than to end a chapter on a cliffhanger because it makes no goddamn sense that he would otherwise do that Gosh I hope my next Intrigue read isn t as bad as this one 288

. Gone books in order This was a very emotional and moving story You felt for Marcie and Joe you felt their loss their vulnerability but it was entertaining enough. Paranormale verhalen Marcie s character was too hysterical I understood that she had many emotions swirling around inside but she seemed to go over the top.mallorykane
