It s nice to have that anchor in life when things didn t turn out right for you in the younger years Penny was a strong female and I really liked her for the most part until she was a dork towards the end but her friend got her on the right track She was pretty feisty and a strong woman for the tragedy that happened in her life Them together as a couple was just Cuteness Overload where I found myself smiling sometimes The chemistry between was sexy and I enjoyed the sexual parts of the book Jackson and Penny were to cute together. EPub Alabama sonsray machinery I just can t stop saying cute I also enjoyed the Peter Pan aspect of the book and the little sayings Penny s father was a nice character I rather enjoyed him Some things I didn t enjoy was the sub second characters and how the book spend a lot of time on her best friends and there relationship towards each other I honesty didn t care to much for them being such a huge part of the book I did enjoy them but not all that much Also for me the Climax of the book or the problem wasn t really a huge problem for me to think something bad was going to happen Some things threw me off trying to figure out whose PPOV it was from although it said the name sometimes it didn t especially when starting a chapter There was some filler that I skimmed through but I understood why they were sometimes But overall the book was very good and I love the authors.

Alabama sonssimet gotas This is the first book in The Sons Trilogy and I look forward to reading the rest of the series The secondary characters of Boone and Darla kept my interest and I d like to see of them in the next book English arc given for honest review I immediately loved this book I really enjoyed Penny s character She was so spunky and awesome Where do I start with Jackson He s a sexy southern guy with a great voice and such charm They fell for each at first sight but Penny wanted nothing to do with poor Jackson She had a Feisty attitude which made me laugh and like her because I can relate to her This book was filled with hot sex scenes and some parts that hurt my heart At times I was scared that they wouldn t make it as a couple Also Jackson s childhood made me a bit sad This is the first book of the trilogy and I am excited to hear about Boone and Darla next I enjoyed Penny and Darla s friendship.

Alabama snow wvtm 13 A Whithead did a good job in telling a story there was quite a few grammatical errors that I had to look by but for the most part it was good The writing was so different for me I m not sure if that was a good or bad thing It took me slower to read some sentences because I had no idea what they were talking about I couldn t speed read like I normally do and I caught myself sometimes rereading a sentence of paragraph a couple times before i got it. Alabama sons ebook download I enjoy reading the development between Jackson and Pennythe story itself was just to freaking cute I enjoyed how sexy jackson was and how in Love he was Penny she is amazing and I am so happy that your novel is out Can t wait to read from you my love English Thanks to the author and SMI Promotions I was allowed to read an ARC of this book for an honest review This is a debut novel so I was very interested to see what it was like I will admit that when I first started the book I was uncertain my thoughts on it The progression seemed a little slow so I was thinking that maybe it might not be something I was interested in I stuck with it and within a few chapters I wanted to keep reading to see where it lead. Alabama sons of confederate veterans This is a sweet story about two young people who have faced tragedy in their pasts They are so cute together and it is fun to read how they fall in love with each other Even with the love story though there is much to this book It deals with the emotions faced with tragic loss and how each person handles that loss Penny has to face her demons to be with Jackson As they are working so hard to move forward they are hit with a totally unexpected surprise Because I don t want to include spoilers let me just say that the book has a twist that you would never expect This twist has an impact on the relationship of Penny and Jackson The author did a great job of including a plot twist that really grabbed you emotionally Again no spoilers but I will say that this is not a cliff hanger book for those that don t like those You can finish this book and be happy. Alabama songs 80s I generally liked this story There were three things however that I didn t care for The first being that the writing was a little awkward The second was that in my opinion the characters in this story fit in better with high school as far as their personalities and maturity levels went even though they were college age The third was that I think the southern aspect was pushed a little too much I mean yes the book is set in the south but it seemed like it was stressed a lot. Alabama songs of inspiration That being said I thought this story was cute English rating 4 of 5 Three years ago Penny Wilmot and her father suffered a great loss as a result of an accident It is not something she talks about Deciding to have spent enough time hiding out on the U pick farm she runs with her father and her best friend Boone she heads out for a night on the town with her wild and crazy friend Darla After the death of his mother Jackson Hawkes promised himself two things he would follow his dream to make music and he wanted to find the father he had never known Well he was making music when he wasn t working and was trying hard to find a band when he bumped into Penny Initially reluctant Penny quickly gives in to the sweetly endearing and obviously attracted Jackson Neither very experienced with real relationships they take their first slow shaky steps trying not to overstep boundaries too quickly or make any wrong moves Over the course of the summer as their connection grows deeper they discover that they may have a connection neither of them were aware of One that is threatening to bring back all the old darkness and break them apart A wonderful writing style creating a setting I had no trouble picturing from the start Great mood setting and atmosphere an intriguing story line that provides some shocking twists and turns that were totally unexpected And a sweet and at times heart breaking love story. Alabama songs list thank goodness But it is clear at least to me that the story is not quite done yet Part of the reason for not giving a full five star rating is that the story is still developing and some aspects of the main characters mind space has been hidden from the reader opening up only toward the end of the book I am sure that by the end if the trilogy the full context of each individual character will be clear but it is difficult to give a full rating based on half the information so I can only rate based on what I actually have Penny is a character much troubled than we get to see at first We get glimpses of some underlying issue but it isn t until later that we get an idea of the darkness she carries Jackson seems to remove the dull numbness that covered her life and gives her back feeling. Alabama children's book Jackson is like an excited young pup curious and with a sense of excitement about new things and an optimistic view A bit of a court jester that hides some deep rooted feelings of abandonment He learns to contain himself a little for Penny s sake for fear of chasing her off and she seems to settle him bringing a sense of peace. Alabama songs list In the background there are other connections being made that are important to the story and suggest that there will be follow up in future books The supporting cast of characters in particular Penny s ex boxing champion father was a delight to get to know I would love the opportunity to see where this story leads me The bitter sweet taunting and twisting tale of loss they are super close As friends should be can t wait for from Darla English I enjoyed this book so damn much Jackson I loved his fine southern a right off a delicious looking woman standing in front of me His words dripped and I fought the urge to let my mouth drop And his mind is something out of this world she s pi ed at me Eff shes hot when she s pi ed The way her lips stretched to a flat line I mean I died laughing at his thoughts when I turned around and she was walking back to her car He backside held that perfect curve the really round kind that fills out just slightly at the side This was getting old my d k and me were just going to have to agree on everything today Penny she knows how to drive her man wild she continues kissing the corner of my mouth my neck and my ear lobe as we drove back to my apartment in Tuscaloosa I drew the line when she started pulling at the buttons of my shirt Jackson he likes to take care of himself and I found his grooming habits very wellI was turned on thank go I had manscaped last night before taking her out It hadn t mattered before but it suddenly had started to bother men the thought of Penny seeing anything than the well groomed version of me And Jackson he finds himself in some of the funniest awkward moments except I couldn t get up because I was up I wasn t kidding when I said she was naked in my dream And now my anaconda was swimming eff I mumbled under my breath English ARC received in exchange for an honest review As much as I hate to do this I had to label this DNF. Alabama songs lyrics I trudged through until I hit 52% and I just couldn t do it any I was struggling to get through every single page I m not going to write a full review because I don t feel that s fair to the author since I didn t finish the book I m just going to give y all a few reasons why I didn t enjoy it enough to make it to the end I couldn t connect with Penny and Jackson or any of the characters for that matter There wasn t any depth to them The dialogue wasn t great and I felt the same way about the writing in general A lot of the interactions between Jackson and Penny felt forced which is probably why I didn t really care about either of them or their relationship The Jackson revelation around 28% was unnecessary and pretty ridiculous Not to mention I saw it coming from a mile away There was a big eye roll accompained by a verbal Are you kidding me during that scene The concept of this book is something I would generally enjoy but the delivery fell way short in my opinion English ARC received from author in exchange for honest review All opinions are completely my own. Alabama boys book Penny has some issues she s trying to work through regarding her past and Jackson s past blows up in his face Ahh Okay so there really isn t much angst they are super close As friends should be can t wait for from Darla English
